According to Mike Craft the players oly meeting hapened in the team shower after the game.

Soumds like some of our vets have straight up Stockholm Syndrome regarding Rivera. They actually buy into this idea that Ron and his staff are completely blameless.

That's not really unusual though.

Players defended Fox, Capers, even Seifert. Heck, our defensive guys would probably tell you they let Eric Washington down.

It’s usually one of the first dominos to fall in a lost season before a coaching change. Along the same lines of the owner or GM giving the dreaded “full support” and “vote of approval” to the head coach.

Yea there is probably a split in the locker room.

Some of the old Rivera guys(who should have been let go by now btw) still are drinking the poisoned kool aids and the newer guys and possibly even guys like Adams/Reid are not having it.

Panthers had a players only meeting in 2013 where players decided they were not going to lose anymore. Worked out well being that we started 1-3. We need to finish out strong. Hope our guys have it in them to win out

It's impossible to know how the players truly feel about Rivera. Guys are going to play nice publicly because blasting your head coach in December isn't a smart way to make a good impression on any potential future employers down the line.

Head coaches in the NFL for the most part get paid regardless if they end up getting canned before the contract runs out. Players don't have that kind of advantage built in. This is the same league that barely gave a slap on the wrist to an owner who publicly compared players to inmates.
