He’s held Evans to 60 yards in two games. Thomas to under 50 yards. AJ Green to under 60 yards. Julio to 64 yards. And 0 TDs to all 4 of them. He’s faced a number of other great WRs with little safety help, having to play way off at times and no pressure until Monday.

This place amazes me with the myths that are perpetuated about specific players. I like Donte but he got abused during the losing stretch until Monday and people love him. Bradberry was great his rookie year and been solid this year and people want to replace him. Good luck.

People love flash. Bradberry typically isn’t the guy pulling down 5 INT a season but he will bring what most of this team lacks. Consistency and above average play.

I agree we need some changes, and definitely need to get younger. But who are replacing all these guys with? Where are we finding the upgrades? Just asking.

We've got the same ways of finding upgrades as all teams (draft, FA, UDFA) and the same constraint of the salary cap.

I'm much more concerned about WHO will be choosing the replacements. I don't have much confidence in the current leadership.

Bradberry is  inconsistent.   He will have those good games.  Then you are like, this kid can play.  Then follow it up where he gets absolutely abused all game. 2nd half of last year he was the worst DB on the team.

Good to see the morons on here who have no idea wtf they are talking about continue to gives us more and more proof. Bradberry gone? hahahahah

Still love to laugh at those who think he isn't a good CB. Funnier still, since they don't actually watch NFL football, they'd be wanting to get rid of most CBs on most teams. Love the mornin comedy.

This list is in no particular order. Here we go

James Bradberry- Too slow get burnt all the time. There is a reason he played at a small school called Samford or whatever.

Vernon Butler - All I know about him is his favorite shoes is Balenciagas and he like to eat lunch. Go look at his first press conference. He hasn't done s h i t for us.

Devin Funchess - The greatest thing I seen him do is dunk a basketball on youtube. Should've played point guard in basketball, because he is weak sauce when it comes to being a NFL wide receiver.

Captain Munnerlyn- Old and slow, time to retire.

Matt Kalil- Hope he never wears a Panthers uniform ever again in his life.

Julius Peppers- A Hall of Famer for sure but too quite call it a career we love you Peppers. The end of the road is here time to get out.

Corn Elder, Colin Jones, Torrey Smith, all are wasting roster spots.

If Greg Olsen break his foot again. Time to shut it down, we love you to bye.

Shaq Thomas is on thin ice. Dude misses alot of tackles with bad angles. If we can find a better LB get rid of him.

There is more

That list is way too long to be reasonably satisfied. IIRC, the Panthers have eight picks in this year's draft. You'd have to hope that ALL eight picks were replacement level or better (highly unlikely) and you could fill the other spots with free agents.

The list needs to be pared down to it's critical elements - the personnel who are likely not to improve via a new defensive coordinator or new head coach (since most believe both are coming). We also need to consider salary, as a replacement level player is fine, as long as they don't break the bank.

Therefore, I would submit the list of players not invited back should be:

Matt Kalil (obvious), Captain Munnerlyn, Corn Elder, Torrey Smith, Greg Olsen, Devin Funchess and Shaq Thompson. There's a good amount of savings to be had there to be spent on replacements who could be just as effective, if not more so, at a lesser cost.

I didn't include Vernon Butler, because he will not be overly expensive and I would like to see what a new DC would be able to extract from him in a contract year.

It's been a bad year, mostly in the second half of the season. The important thing now is to take positive action without OVER reacting.

How bout that Steelers game bruh? Seachickens, Browns, Lions all worked him over too. You're also looking at games from like September. Yeah, it was a group effort against the Taints but they also have no other WR outside of Thomas. Julio will probably go off on Sunday. Tampa also loves using Humphries against us so Evans doesn't get all the looks.

EVERYONE on defense was asleep on that first play. The entire defense sucks that night. Bradberry is fine. We need a true free safety to pair with Eric Reid. We need one really fast, rangy guy back there to keep offenses honest. Tyrann Matthieu or a high mid round free safety would solve a lot of problems. Also, get a real defensive backs coach, not an empty sweatsuit like Richard Rodgers.

Matt Kalil- Obvious reasons

Captain- again, thanks for your time here (mainly his 1st tour). But the dude has been one of the leagues worst Nickels in the League.  And when benched last year threw a temper tantrum (which as a vet, if it wasnt guaranteed $$, should've been showed the door then and there)

Torrey Smith- havnt been a fan of yours, but thanks for the vets leadership and taking Moore under your wing

Dontari Poe- what the h311 man, your 350 snd getting pushed back 3-4 yards on 1 on 1 blocks.  Now the Falcants fans are laughing at us saying "told you so" "we warned you"

James Bradberry - He's fine. He's consistently good when the safeties do their job and we have even a decent pass rush. No one is going to be able to cover NFL WRs with no line pressure. Getting rid of him would be a huge mistake.

Vernon Butler - Cut him. He was a wasted draft pick.

Devin Funchess - Let him walk. Addition by subtraction.

Captain Munnerlyn- Old and slow, time to retire. AGREE 100%.

Matt Kalil- Hope he never wears a Panthers uniform ever again in his life. AGREE 100%

Julius Peppers- A Hall of Famer for sure but too quite call it a career we love you Peppers. The end of the road is here time to get out. AGREE 100%

Corn Elder, Colin Jones, Torrey Smith, all are wasting roster spots. AGREE 100%

If Greg Olsen break his foot again. Time to shut it down, we love you to bye. It'd be GREAT to have a new stud TE to replace Greg, but that's probably not going to happen in the upcoming draft/FA. As an alternative solution, I say keep Greg around for one more season while we groom Ian Thomas and see if we can squeeze a few more good games out of him. Then, we draft or sign a stud TE to replace him in 2020. I think Ian Thomas is going to be really, really good. He's shown flashes, and this is only his third year playing football.

Shaq Thomas is on thin ice.

I'm undecided about Shaq Thompson. His performance hasn't left me clamoring for TD to retire like we kind of thought it would when he was drafted. However, the only time we got to see him start in TD's place was during Eric Washington's mismanagement of the defense through the first 8 games. He looked okay during those first few, but honestly everyone kind of just looked okay.

I'm not a Bradberry fan but, Jesus H. Christ the standards set for him are insane.

He shadowed basically the top 5 wideouts in the game and gave up a couple plays for the game, so that means he sucks!!!1!!1!!!! and needs replacing??? This is twilight zone type of stuff.

Bradberry has to be one of the most underappreciated Panthers of all time. The guy is a very good CB and it seems like half of this fanbase thinks he's straight trash. Honestly, it's baffling.

If you notice it's mostly Norman fanboys that bash the kid.  Some just can't get over that.  They still worship that guy even though he hasn't done poo since he got paid for one good season of play.
