Why the h€££ did you not go after Clowney?

I would’ve been ok with trading a 3rd for him for 8 million for one year then just letting him walk after this season with the strong possibility we get a 3rd comp pick. 

It basically would’ve been a one year 8 million dollar deal. Wouldn’t have been mad at that.

houston got absolutely hosed yesterday with their two deals.

They (Seattle) do take an 8 million cap hit this year as well.   The Texans save some money on the cap, and get a left tackle.  But they gave up a lot of picks.  They pretty much have to win now.

Can he play OL, DB or NT?

I'm less concerned with DE and edge with our team. Tradinding for an expensive guy that might not beat out guys we already have is not something to worry about. Hell addison has more productive stats than  Clowney.

Seahawks were in a good position because of their recent personal losses. We have already addressed that area and have different needs.
