Not feeling the excitement

Other than Aaron Donald, are any of you really worried about an older Clay Matthews, and the all hype Dante Fowler Jr (4 sacks in 2018), and Ebujam their anticpated starters / edge rotation...

  • 2, 2, 8 (back in 2017), 4

Then Clay Matthews the last three seasons

  • 5, 7, 3.5

Samson Ebukam in two seasons

  • 5 TOTAL SACKS (2017 & 2018) aka his career

I’m worried about Wade Phillips

A buddy of mine at work is a Rams fan. He was there, in person, for X Clown. We haven't ribbed each other too bad because we're both somewhat realists.

He's excited for Clay Matthews, but imho he's going to be somewhat disappointed. On the other hand, he doesn't sound very confident in their offense.

I'm excited to see a full game's worth of Panthers offense, a healthy Cam, and what our defense can do against a potentially dangerous offense.

I'm ready for some football, but I can be a realist when it comes to the Panthers too. I might not have a great feeling for our odds in the opener, but I think it is going to be a good season.

Buddy's prediction was 24-10 Rams.

My prediction is 27-20 Panthers.

Not about the X's and the O's --- it's the Jimmy's and the Joe's

LA is nowhere near Denver's personnel in 2015, they were bad against the run last year, and we saw even with Suh that defense is all Donald. Last I checked Suh was gone, Peters is over-hyped, and Talib is aging.

I'm more concerned about their offense, however I think we are equipped personnel wise to contain it, I think once we lay a few hits on Goff he'll be trigger shy like in the SB.

It's opening week in the NFL. If you can't get excited for your team, then maybe you need another team. Just saying, chase your happiness.

This too. As far as I am concerned, we're still staring straight at 19-0.

Being a fan of the Panthers for their entire existence, however, has prepared me for whatever alternative to that becomes reality.

I'm just ready for some football (that counts for something.)
