Panthers sign return guy from Jets

Untouchable

Something I’ve noticed about these Carolina kids like Miller, Daley, and even Burns with his brother playing here a few years, is that they play hard for us like they’ve been wanting to be here since they were kids. I wonder if that’s a new strategy with the scouting team since a lot of these kids arent old enough to not know a team being in the Carolinas

You "almost" beat them too. Is that another moral victory?

UNC has been an awful football program the past two years. It is going to take some time and players for Coach Brown to reestablish a winning culture and get UNC back where we need to be. Looks like we are ahead of schedule.

nice win for Crap State. It was obviously their Super Bowl, as you could tell by the way they were celebrating. I’m surprised they didn’t carry their coach off the field.

He will definitely be a player that Kyle Allen will make look good. He might be a bit short for Cam.

This was my 1st thought when I saw his measurements. Smitty was successful with Jake and Cam because, although short, he could out leap a gazelle and run routes precisely. Dortch's route running at Wake looks crisp. Wonder how vertical he can get?

Y'all are getting way to hyped up for this guy. How about you let him take the field and see what he's got against NFL talent?

Of course, you're right, only time will tell -- but I think this IS an exciting acquisition.

Take a look at all the WF hilights that Riot Report put out:

https://theriotreport.com/panthers-sign-new-receiver-to-help-in-return-game/

When I started watching those, I thought, Ho hum, these are vs Towson and Rice, so no big deal.. Then he started showing off against NC St, Syracuse, Louisville, even Clemson.

This kid has many fine attributes that aren't teachable; he just has them -- open field speed, vision (PR asset), toughness, and that quick twitch side step that we see from CMC, but not from anyone else on the Panthers.  I don't hold his stature against him; a lot of smaller guys have the 'attitude' to compensate for it.

So happy that they landed this kid to replace Ray Ray.  Eager to see him in action.

A few are, but most are rational.

I am a Wake fan, and I watched Dortch play a lot.  I see potential, but I also know that he is very small and missed some games at Wake with injury, and now he is going to be playing in a far rougher arena.

We know that Ray Ray fumbled a lot, and misjudged some punts.  There is a good chance Dortch will be better than that at least.
