Gaulden - what happened

Last time we heard from Gaulden , he was not participating due to “non performance reasons”. One thing he can do like a beast is tackle and his natural position is nickel not safety.  He did ok in preseason actually, so what happened to him? Your theories here. 

On a side note I wish Panthers media didn’t say stuff like “you know who no one talks about? R. Gaulden. “ Then they never mention him from there on out.

Gaulden had bust written all over him, I said it day one.  Remember when they were making him the default FS this season before Ron and Hurney realized, " this guy really does suck" and acquired Tre Boston.  Sad when Tre Boston was seen as the savior of the secondary.  Goes to show how horrible Gaulden is.

      I think it was a thing for sure. Panthers weren’t too many people’s first choice. Or 5th choice.  2022 and 2023… coaches fired mid season. Consecutive years. You want any of that?  He has definitely overseen a rehab of how the Panthers are perceived. Because we are a place that is seen as up and coming. And just the little thing of he accommodated Theilen so graciously, that gets noticed. It all adds up. Dan is doing a lot of things right, probably most things.  Needs a good draft.

      K, I think that is dumb, but you do you. I didn't find anything online that made him out to be a dislikable person.

      Don't care if they win or not.  Hire the High Point coach (go watch his post game speech) and bring Martin, Anderson, and Johnston with you. Way better than any PG we have, SF we have or shooter we have.
