Tepper says Scott Turner will now be play caller / offensive coordinator. He is likely in the mix for the future regime.

I’m sorry, but looking at his body language says he’s not an owner.

Thats just pathetic at best. Not to mention the poorest editing job I’ve seen in a while did they let Hurney Edit this?

Jeeeeeeeezus Christ

What the He11 has Hurney done to Tepper.

Honestly the way that’s phrased makes it seem like Hurney could be moved to the scouting department while we hire or groom a new HC.  Wouldn’t be a terrible move

See what we have going forward. Looking at the future. Being modern with old school discipline. Going to be a process. WTF Hurney is one of the best recognizers of college talents period? Oh hell. This is bad. 3 more years of suck incoming. Fug

I was ok until he said Hurney is one of the best college talent evaluators around...

This probably means we’re stuck with Hurney as the GM who will be responsible for the rebuild.

Think about that for a second

i know....i spit up in my mouff

    • I understand why people say things like it could be worse in relation to Tepper but it just doesn't jive for me. Are the optics bad? Yes. Would I want her to be the owner of my team? No. But I mean she's only been owner for a year and the Colts overall are a better run organization. As far as I know they've also never had the distinction of having the worst win percentage in all of professional sports either. Tepper has owned this team for 8 years and about the only thing that has been consistent has been the ability to continue to find different ways to achieve new lows. Even now people are saying things are different yada yada but we said these same things at certain points under Rhule Fitterer and Reich. I'm going to wait to see how the rubber meets the road this upcoming season before I make any strong conclusions about anything in relation to the longevity under this franchise going forward.
    • This is a toughie because I wonder what a guy like Canales thinks about redemption stories for addiction issues. Also, I think this is a case of 1 player getting caught, and not being naive enough to think this isn't more common in college than we think. I'd toss a 3rd rounder out there. 2026 is essentially a redshirt season regardless, so he's not taking over for any NFL QB next year. Best case, he's ready to go in 2027 if we pass on Bryce's extension. Worst case, he's our future backup QB2. Kid has the tools to be an NFL QB. I do think we could somehow land a '26 3rd round pick back in a trade. Our past years' third rounders are: Brazzell Princely Wallace DJ Johnson Matt Corral All this to say, I could see a team like the Jets going w/ a 2nd. They have three FRPs next year.
