Does Will Grier get the start Sunday?

Sure. Why the fug not.

After all, aren't the Panthers bowl-eligible now?

Seriously, nobody, including Cam Newton, knows if Cam will be able to play next season and Grier lost his job as the #2 to Kyle Allen. There's a very good chance that only 1 of the 3 QBs on this roster is back next season and Kyle Allen has the inside track and needs to let that be known.

Uh no. He needs at the absolute least two weeks of prepping with the ones. He hasn’t done that at all since he was drafted. He’s gotten scout-team reps and that’s it.

LOL...your love affair with Grier is hilarious

Of course give him some snaps

If we win out and the Vikings lose out we still around.

it would be a logical call to make. there is no advantage to winning right now and no advantage to keeping kyle allen as a starter but a whole lot of advantage to getting an idea of what will grier looks like with live bullets flying after a few months of practice

Not sure it will help or hurt anything at this point. Now it's playing for pride as far as the players go....if they've got much left anyways. They already saw their coach get fired and to a degree that's on them. Got to be pretty demoralizing. Existing coaches have to use this as an audition. It all depends on what will make them look better. Continue with the status quo (something that the owner obviously isn't a fan of) or take a gamble on an unknown commodity and hope to find something good in the rubble left behind.

No....Allen needs to keep trotting out there, kid needs to keep learning.  Learn your mistakes and progress from there, if he flatlined then there is work to be done off season.  Changes are happening and we're going to be in a one heck of a ride next season, just hope it is a good one.

Would you peg the chances of both those things happening as better than lottery jackpot odds?

Because I wouldn't.

It would require us beating the Saints and the Seahawks while the Vikings would have to lose to the Lions, Chargers and Bears (oh, my).

So yeah, not gonna happen.
