I honestly didn't even think about the history of Oregon busts at QB. I was speaking completely from watching him play quite a few games.

I know--wanted to give you some history and perspective that popped into my mind when I read your post.  I am thinking Dan Fouts was the only Oregon QB to materialize. That conference is hard to gauge QB talent.

At this point I wouldn't mind trading up to #1 to guarantee getting him. It'd take a LOT, but to secure another franchise QB, would it not be worth it?
