This list does not inspire a lot of enthusiasm in regards to the upcoming uniform change. If there is any corrilation in taste, we are going to look like the 2015 Browns.

Mentioned it before, but Charlotte Independence is a great name but they may have issue getting the rights from the USL.

Might be a cool tip of the hat to the whole Middle Ages theme Charlotte seems to have with the Queen, the Knights and such.

Reapers is a great name. Except for the whole death stuff.

But google tells me it is from Rock Hill which is cool.

I agree, but that's almost immediately identifiable to most people in the Carolinas.

Its catchy, its local, and easily marketable. The name is also much more exciting than the Charlotte FC. Seriously, the names hes picked make you want to go to it as much as your neighbors 5 year olds school play.

My favorite is Carolina Reapers. It can tie in farming in both states and the pepper.

The name Defenders can tie in the military of both states. The name Defenders could be confusing due to the role of defenders in soccer.

This will be the choice as Charlotte won't foot the tax bill to shrink BOA for a soccer stadium and the team will end up in SC regardless. So a state(s) name is best suited.
