This OL is the worst we’ve ever had and it’s not close. When Remmers started at RT we went 22-2 in one stretch because we had 3 soon to be or already all-pro/pro-bowl interior guys. We don’t have a guy on this OL who’s sniffed that level of play.

In 11 games (not counting today), Allen has been sacked more than Cam in his worst sack season (43, only season above 30s). Even Cam in 2 games was getting sacked at a rate above his worst sack season.

Moton has had some bad games and the rest of the OL has been way below average to just insanely bad. 14 pressures and multiple sacks in one game by one guy.

We are on a historically bad sack rate. Before today we were gunning for the top 5 worst sack seasons. We need so much help on the OL it’s ridiculous.

Cam made the line look better with his scrambling ability and they still didn’t look great.. Plus Allen doesn’t have that great of pocket awareness yet because he is young.

Cam masked a lot of sacks with his mobility and Allen walks into sacks on the regular. It’s not remotely the same.

we obviously need to beef up our oline but acting like allen has somehow had worse when we were starting Byron bell and a converted dt at tackles is disingenuous.

    • Watching games this year again and Bryce missed a wide open XL many times and some of them were in the endzone. I get the kid has mental lapses and hasn't broke out yet, but this is year three on a rookie deal! Cutting bait now is too early. If he hasn't gained anymore trust from his QB, posted any highlights, little production, or outright gets beat out then we can talk movement.
    • Samesies   I truly may just cash completely out of Panther football if we give him a long term deal that isnt necessary.  I have watched NFL for 50 years now and I can without a shadow of a doubt say you cannot win consistently with BY.  Way too many limitations to deal with.   I may come back around in 3 years when the inevitable happens and all parties are either cut and/or fired.  Giving him a deal before this season so you hopefully can get him cheaper in case he "blows up" or if you truly believe that he will has to be the most moronic decision a gm can make when the evidence is laid before you with different players
    • This is the one! I was at that game and all KB had to do was lay down on the corner after the pick or make an obvious tag while he was down. He had already ran a lazy route. Then if Cam would've just walked to the sideline like most elite QBs instead of trying to make the tackle.  A lot of people bring up the TJ Watt hit, but he just reaggravated a bunch of scar tissue from that play. And every Cam hater said that the running did him in and it was a dive tackle attempt on an interception that initially began the shoulder deterioration. He still went to New England later and would've got them in the playoffs had their A team not sat out the covid year. We quit on him too early. But hey how good was Teddy? Am I right?
