If thats the best, just keep him. It has to worth more, cause he could be worth a comp 3rd. Like the NBA you are trading for his "bird rights" in the sense he could be tagged for 3 str years. So you got Cam for 2 years around 44, with the option to do 2 more years. Thats worth plenty "if healthy" etc. If not, just take the 3rd comp unless he becomes a cancer.

Just stupid. Why sign Mariotta for 18 million when you can keep Cam for 20 million who is drastically better. I mean this is where the moving on from Cam argument doesn't make sense. If Cam's back healthy then you have your franchise QB.

Barnwell made an article with a bunch of players and basically threw a bunch of scenarios with each player (including Cam) and then tried to predict the dominos that would fall for other players (that aren’t in the main scenarios). He wasn’t predicting anything but not surprising to see the reactions above.

Mariota is an idiotic call. You either have a healthy Cam and compete, or you don't and you blow the whole thing up. Signing the ~30th best QB does you zero favors.
