Hello, it's me, Sam Mills Fan. This organization is falling off a cliff.

I'm honestly not shocked. Everywhere Rhule has been he's completely torn the program down to the studs in his first year and then rebuilt it. He's doing the same here. No, honestly it doesn't make any sense to keep Cam through that and yeah, we're probably going to be the frontrunner for the #1 overall pick in '21.

It is not possible for any NFL team to be as irrelevant as the Hornets are.

They're hardcore rebuilding, but they just beat the defending champion Raptors and hung with the Bucks all day yesterday.

What year do you think the Panthers will beat the defending SB champion in their house and hang with the team with the league's best record?  2024?

Trai Turner and KK Short got over paid and DO NOT play up to their current contract. Tepper is just trying to cut the fat off of the roster...it’s just scary how many guys that were coasting....bellied up to the trough.

People here bitch and moan about being mediocre for years but someone comes in to shake up the mediocrity for the better and they still bitch and moan.

The Panthers have been the team with the league's best record. They've played for championships.

I love the Hornets, but they've never done either, and probably never will.

Having lots of picks and lots of cap room is actually a good foundation, especially with our track record of not having a lot of picks and very little cap room.

We've created an environment where players can come in, play well, get paid, and then not continue to get better.

It is time to change that, and I am on board.

Trai is a prime example. As is Bradberry.

We don't want Daryl Williams 2.0 where we settle and pay a guy we know and he plays terrible.

I guess I've been watching football to long to have the same negative perspective.

No doubt.  OMG, this team is going to be 0-16.  Bet on it.

Oh, the drama.  We shop an underperforming OL for a trade, and that means we are going to be bad for the next 15 years.

Some times you have to tear it down to build it up

Not a surprise but some here already stated its going to get worse before it gets better

I even heard Steve Smith saying the same at the Combine last week

Paid my invoice today. So, ‘tear  down to build up’ from Tepper isn’t music to my ears or joyous new to my wallet

That's great, but the past means absolutely nothing when discussing the present and not-so-distant future, as we are now. The Cleveland Browns have handfuls of championship rings. Ask their fans what that means now.

Pretty soon it's gone be Major League day and gonna offer free tickets to anyone who was alive the last time the Browns won a championship.

Honestly?  Trai is 26 and has been underperforming his contract.  I did think he was safe because his contract was guaranteed (large portion) and he is only 26.

Guaranteed money is long gone. He’s got nothing guaranteed left. His signing bonus hasn’t all hit and Marty boy restructured his contract last year. Hence the dead cap, which again we can’t escape even by keeping him.

He’s paid like a top 5 guard and isn’t close in performance even if he gets those pro-bowl joke nods.
