We have all seen this look before.

I'd be fine with the best DT/Simmons at 1 now that we have someone capable of being more than a "speed bump mcgee" at LT. I orginally wanted a OT at 7 but now that we have another body we can plug in (barring injury) it gives our 22 year old 2nd year Tackle another season to develop with this coaching staff. Getting a blue chip player on defense will help to start rebuilding that side of the ball. We have mostly our starters set on offense except for maybe 1-2 spots on the oline/TE. Also need some good young speedsters as the 3/4 and our offense is set. Defense will likely need another offseason of retooling to have a chance at being good enough for top 15. But really the only side of the ball that's been completely torn down is the defense. This team isnt far off playoff territory with a healthy Cam, we should be able to put up lots of points.

I would've felt a lot better about Brown if he worked on improving that 3-cone and re-ran it. I'm not a huge "40-time" or bench press guy, but 3-cone is a pretty telling stat at overall athleticism.

Wonder how kk did on that drill....or Star

gotta say I felt the same way

I’d feel a lot better if Hurney were no where near this rebuild. Been seeing the fruits of that clown’s work since after the Siefert disaster. As bad as George was, he did hit on some great picks in his final draft

    • Rotating in Chuba was beyond stupid and really hurt our offense overall. We’ve been in a good rhythm the last 6 quarters or so but Canales figured disrupting that with Chuba would be worth it Rico fits this offense so much better than Chuba    As far as grades go I know that ain’t our RB1, starting Center and our supposedly deep WR room and exciting talented young TE in dead last. Weird. I wonder if that has any correlation on QB play  Even that first incomplete ball Bryce threw in the end zone that hit Legette’s hands. Legette had no business being there so early. Legette went into scramble drill when that ball was intended for Coker who led up because of the traffic there
    • Yeah Jets have pretty much been in every game they've played and have barely lost to really good teams. They are much better than their record says Imo
    • I kinda just wanna see what the offense can do with a QB who has proven he can move the football in the NFL. If Dalton wasn't a shadow of his former self I'd be fine with him but Father Time has definitely caught up with him. If we start piling up the losses as the schedule gets tougher and the passing offense continues to be anemic that might cast Canales his job and it's worth a very low risk move IMO to at least give him a fighting chance. The thought of yet another Tepper rebuild just isn't at all exciting to me having already seen a few of them. I'm about giving this current guy a fighting chance.
