To jump up from #16 to #2 would cost them a 1st, 2nd, next year's 1st, and next year's 2nd before I would even consider it if I were Washington (not counting any players Atlanta would be willing to trade)

They did this before when they traded a ton of draft capital for Julio. Unless there is a franchise QB available you don’t give up a ton of picks to move up in my opinion.

They gave up what, five draft picks to trade up for Julio Jones?

I mean, it worked in the sense that they got an elite player, but they still haven't won a championship.

As I recall, the trade was with the Browns who then turned around and wasted all five picks on guys who busted out of the league within just a few short years.

That would be one of the biggest trade ups in history.  That would require more than 2020 1st, 2nd, 2021 1st, 2nd.  Add in a 3rd, 4th somewhere, and throw in Calvin Ridley.

It seems they just want a top defender.  Their best bet is trading up to around 9/10 and landing Kinlaw.
