I heard several reports that several nfl execs said Simmons was the most over rated player in the draft.  I liked him, but was interesting.

Everybody wanting Simmons, are you not worried by the fact the he isn't elite at any position? Sure, he will be good as a Will LB or strong safety, but whatever team gets him better be super creative to make him great

Well, I preferred Simmons but I'm not going to doubt Hurney in the first. Brown should make us better from day 1. I just think if you said one player between Simmons and Brown would become a future defensive player of the year/multiyear 1st team all pro, etc, no question I would pick Simmons. That being said, Brown makes us considerably better, matches tremendous need and wasn't a reach. Not an exciting pick but perfectly fine.
