Rich people dont work on farms and proximity to their high paying corporate gigs or football teams is worth more then land.

Maybe it’s just me, but if I was gonna pay 2.9 mil for a condo that condo better have a high rise loft that overlooks the city. Building way to short for the money you pay.

For some folks being able to get out is more important than a city view.

Maybe it's just me but it makes more sense to have a house and land if you're going to be somewhere long term with a family. The children can play out in the yard and have privacy at the same time. I know it's his money but seems like a waste to pay that much for a condo in my humble opinion.

Some people like to be out in the sticks with a lot of land, and some like to be in the city where everything is happening.  Its personal preference.

View is very important when living in the city. I wonder what he could see. Surely he was top floor. My view is unbeatable, but the size of my place is like one of his rooms, lol.
