SMH. Why didn’t we just let this guy pull a Clausen? We’d have another 2012 3rd round pick (perfect for C/G picks), $40-60M in extra cap space when we are competitive and Trevor Lawrence or whoever we want.

Instead we’ve got an expensive bridge, less picks and cap space and Jesus anchoring down the left bench.

I believe he is in Isle of Palms.. a guy I was pretty cool with in College took a picture with Will yesterday and posted it on IG with the location lol.

Said he was showing Will a vacation rental spot that he manages. Looks like he might have gotten the sale.  Regardless, yeah I took a big double take when I saw him yesterday... “wth is that?”

Thats a very good question.  I would prefer that to what we are going to get next season.  Teddy B will be decent enough to get us 5 or 6 wins, which will completely kill our chances at one of the top 2 QB picks.  If you're not going to compete for a SB this year, now would be a great time to actively tank and build towards our very bright future.  We will have a ton of cap room and young studs at the skill positions.  We coulda set ourselves up to have Trevor Lawrence or Justin Fields leading that....now we are stuck with Teddy Bridgewater.

    • Pearl Jam would probably be the worst Halftime show ever.  Imagine getting hyped off of Jeremy and Better Man.  Much rather hear Ice Ice Baby and Informer, throw in House of Pain and Cyprus Hill and we have a party.
    • This is a stat graphic from the article.  It's based entirely on that stretch of games last year called the 2024 season.   https://www.si.com/nfl/panthers/news/new-stat-panthers-qb-bryce-young-immense-talent-clearer The guy even posted a video of every throw over 20 yards. https://x.com/jagibbs_23/status/1923333859174748471 Since we have now educated ourselves on the actual number of games I think we can conclude it's not a "puff" piece.  The first two games of his 3rd season do not replace all of the 2024 season unless you're just being flippant. We're talking about his deep accuracy only.  Stay on topic.   Even if we are talking about accuracy overall you're still full of poo.  Tom Brady 64.3 for his career.  Most consider  60% to be the median of average with good to very good being 65-70%.  In college Bryce went 59%, 65% and 67%.  As he continues to improve in the NFL I think he'll end up about the same trend line overall as he had in college. I agree on the 50/50 balls.
