The Redskins have reportedly fired their top two executives in the pro scouting department, and now we know who their replacements will be. Eric Santos and Richard Mann II have reportedly been let go, and they will be replaced by two former Carolina Panthers executives. It was reported yesterday that Don Warren, a 3-time Super Bowl champion with the the Redskins, will be hired as the Assistant Director of Player Personnel. Warren was a pro scout with the Panthers for the last 10 years.

Today, it’s being reported that another former Panthers executive is joining Ron Rivera’s front office. Eric Stokes was promoted to the role of Director of College Scouting last year, and he will have the title of Director of Pro Scouting in Washington. Stokes was the Director of College Scouting with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers from 2012-2014 before joining the Miami Dolphins as Assistant GM in 2014. Prior to Tampa Bay, Stokes worked for the Seattle Seahawks, starting as an area scout from 2000 to 2001 and 2005 to 2009, with a stint in the pro personnel department from 2002-2004. In 2010, he was promoted to the Assistant Director of College Scouting, where he worked until joining the Buccaneers.

It looks like there's going to be a significant poo show with Snyder's NFL team...

Was there ever any doubt? Now it gets a spot light on it and I love it. I hope Snyder gets the JR treatment.

Ron still showing consistent decision making LOL. Not good but consistent.

My positivity for the day: we are still not Washington bad as a franchise. At least we have that.

You mean other than Turner?

Yea and that was a last ditch effort to be honest. Other NFL teams have the Todd Bowles, Jim Caldwell, Leslie Frazier, Jack Del Rio, and Chuck Pagano's of the world and here comes Ron promoting guys like Eric Washington or signing Brady Hoke.

    • Been here since middle school right when it started around 2003 after the charlotte.com one. Living outside of Carolina it was tough to find good Panthers content, news or analysis. And no one to talk to about it. This place gave me a lot though I don’t often post. In the later days, I particularly Loved PhillyB’s write ups. They were fire. Too bad I go let it go. I appreciate the hell out of @MHS831 @TheSpecialJuan @Jackie Lee and others who have been posting great content and keeping this place worth coming back to. Particularly during the offseason. Appreciate y’all!
    • Nice explanation, but I was just messing with you. Thought that would be obvious. I dont have the energy to keep on trolling. Last season I compared our situation with Bryce as a potential Alex Smith, but what we should be looking for is our version of Mahomes. Some people will read that as one sentence, to me that single sentence is equivalent to a half A4 explanationf of the teams pathway forward.
    • I dont know how much of his salary would come across and how much a trade would cost but I feel Kmet would be the sort of TE Canales and Morgan would like
