Here again, they thought he was a heck of a player with a very high floor.  They did have some doubts about his pass rush and that was one reason they were hesitant on him being a top 10 pick.  That speaks to positional value as much as what they think about him.  

They can be a huge fan of a run stopping DT, but that doesn't mean they are going to draft him 7th.

If we had a trade partner (which I recall we did) and if we could have gotten a tackle by trading down like Rhule wanted and another high pick then Hurney should be shot on sight.   The analytics do not support taking a run stopping D tackle that high in the draft.

If you take pff serious your a moron, they have agendas and biases. They never liked Brown from the beginning so the grading score will be curved no matter what.

Remember they thought Palmer was better than Cam I’m 2015

It's possible for bias to creep in due to the subjective nature of the grading system but it's pretty ridiculous to assume bias is widespread enough to consistently and intentionally rate players lower. 

PFF is just one tool to use to get a general idea of performances. It is by no means the ultimate authority on all things NFL. People tend to generally like it when it tells them what they want to hear and dislike it when it doesn't tell them what they want to hear. You know, just like the way people follow news anymore.
