Brian Baldinger is a fan of our recent performances.  He said it’s a cliche, but we were playing chess and the Falcons were playing checkers.  I love this guys takes, you can tell he just loves football when he talks about it.  Plus, the terrible screen recordings are hilarious.

They are stuck with Ryans contract until 2022 regardless, We are young and hungry at the right time, TB is all in with old TB the saints kicking of the can down the road with the cap is finally going to rear its ugly head with them 80 MILLION over next seasons projected cap.

They're tied to Matty Ice. And honestly, it isn't him that's the problem. He's a darned good QB. They actually have all the pieces to play the game well right there on the field, they just don't know how to use them.

If they move away from the coordinators they have now (who really thinks two retread HCs from Tampa Bay are a good thing????) and pick up someone who can motivate and educate, we're all in trouble. The trick is that the Falcons have always been this way... no matter the talent, they just can't make it work.

Yeah, I think Ryan still has some left in the tank for sure.  Their coaching has been ass though so I hope they botch this next hire and keep that tradition going.  They have some good talent on that team like you said, so I was surprised they got rid of Dimitroff.  
 

I also want to take this opportunity to give Mike Davis more props.  I was here, on reddit, whatever, saying how I didn’t like the $3M a year deal he got since we legit fed CMC all game, and it seemed unnecessary.  But man, he can fuging play and I really hope we can keep him.  I love his style.

      Cam was hitting his stride as a QB in 2017/2018.     This is why I think stats like completion percentage are overrated. As long as a QB is clutch and makes the throws to win the game the rest doesn’t really matter. What good is a check down stat padder if they’re a choker.  Until Norv Turner (and briefly Chud) got here we put Cam in high pressure throwing situations all the time. We also ran the ball on first down more than most teams in the NFL in the Ron era. Coupled with shitty WRs, all that is expressed in his stats. I also assume Cam took the ball in his hands on many occasions rather than trust Funchess to catch the ball.    It was also never Cams job to play the game like someone else. His presence on the field dictated the game in a way that is rarely seen.  He showed he could play the dink and dunk game just before TJ Watt. That didn’t suddenly make him better than his earlier seasons. He just got put in a legit under center  passing game again for first time since his rookie year with Chud.    Ron took the quickest path to success and abused the RPO because his ass was about to get fired.    Cam never got the credit for being the cerebral player that he was. I just think when you are legitimately a human Superman, sometimes the best play is having the ball in your hands. He was a better passer than Delhomme was.

      I don't think Canales has any problem benching Bryce or moving on if Bryce doesn't come out playing like the end of last year.  It's year 3 no more excuses for Bryce
