Hot take- Sam Franklin will give off some Thomas Davis feels

Any chance if Franklin & Robinson shine and mature as the season rolls on, that we have our LB/SAF set.....

Robinson-Franklin-Chinn-Shaq. Franklin & Chinn moving around in a positionless role as a rover lining up next to Shaq and sit #52 down.

At CB we would have Douglas-Pride-Jackson-Elder. Odds are we bring in another young CB either in the draft or FA, but Douglas looks like a keeper and still only 25 yo.

Shaq couldn’t tie TD’s shoes

Shaq is a notch below Beason imo. But two notches above James Anderson.

Shaq isn't prime TD and its not even close.

And I'm one of the people here who defends Shaq.

Shaq is a slightly more athletic Chris Draft.

Doesn’t belong in the same sentence as TD.

Shaq hasn't yet matched James Anderson at his best IMO. For a coupe of seasons there around '10/'11, James Anderson was really damn good.

He was certainly above average. But it's easy to look good when we had such a lack of talent on defense those two years.

    • The escapism is really what's missing. I actually do think Bryce's awareness and ability to improvise on broken plays is above average--better than when he's throwing in the pocket because it forces the recievers to get seperation and within his line of sight. If he could scramble in the backfield like Seattle Russ until someone get open I believe he'd have the tools to be a franchise QB even with his noodle arm. He did that in college but it hasn't translated to the pro level.
    • You’re right, again on X, that’s what’s being said. Anyone who actually watched could tell that the Cards defense was different in the second half…until the game was on the line the last drive, then they went into first half mode.
    • The version of Baker Mayfield in Tampa Bay now was never going to be that here. He got a very heavy portion of humble pie both with the Browns and us. That was a driving force in changing his career. And at the end of the day the Bucs are unfortunately a well ran organization. But Baker had already flashed his physical gifts and potential even with the lowly Browns. He just had to get out of his own way and drop the immature meathead crap. Too bad for Geno Smith and Pete Carroll. That wall comes fast. They are both past their expiration date. And as of recently some of Geno's comments sound like a guy rather full of himself. The league will be glad to humble you.
