Big praise for our UDFA rookie safety, he had a great game today and looks like another great hybrid SS/linebacker. Give this defense two more years with good coaching along with plugging up our linebacker core plus another DT/CB and we’re legit. This team is young and talented I’m super impressed by this team this year!

barely missed chinn. great game by him. he may be at least depth for a while.

He did ok.  Got burned badly on that Hill TD and was out of position on a few other throws.  But his run support was on point.

I'm going to put this out there now.  We'll be in the hunt next season for a wildcard playoff spot.    These games we lose this year, we'll win next year.

Going out on a limb here and saying we could easily be in contention for the South title next year. All other teams have horrible cap issues while we’re sitting pretty decent..

Yeah, he's a baller. 

If certain spots on our defense were even halfway decent, we'd be easily winning these games.  It just sucks, bc we have a couple bright spots, really bright- Burns, Brown, Chinn, Franklin, YGM, and maybe Douglas and Carter, but the rest of this defense you could pretty much throw in a trash can.  The secondary and front 7 outside of the guys listed are likely the absolute worst in the NFL.  The only reason we aren't ranked dead last is bc Snow is literally dropping 8 into coverage 90% of the game just to slow them down and eat up clock.  This is the worst 4 or 5 weeks stretch of defense I can ever remember having.  I think we've forced 2 punts in 5 weeks lol.

he was fuged on the hill TD. wouldn't be surprised if on the all 22 it was Jackson fuging up. 

at worst we have a great depth player

Definitely enjoyed watching Franklin the past few weeks. Still rough around the edges, but he is certainly exceeding expectations. He has had more flashes of promise than I expected for an UDFA and think he can be part of the rotation. 

I wonder if when Burris and Chinn return, if we would kick 52 to the bench and move Shaq inside, with Chinn and Franklin moving around, and Burris/Boston on the backend.... or maybe the plan is for Franklin to be paired with Burris, and move on from Boston. 

So many options...but glad Franklin is making the most of his opportunity.
