One qb that can solve our issues

I don't see Dak going anywhere.  In the short-term, it is probably going to be the same script as last year with a twist: he wants a boatload of money, Jerrah is wants to pay him a smaller boatload and now point at the injury, and then they will tag him again.

The injury will be a negotiating point for both sides.  Jerrah is going to say it puts his future in doubt, Dak is going to say "look what the team did without me."

Longer-term, moving on would look like Jerrah's GM did not know what he was doing all these years.  Resigning him is glitzier than trying to get somebody else (and maybe failing), so using Jerrah's logic he has to ultimately be resigned.  After all, the Cowboys' GM is infallible.

Dak prescott , he’s the perfect qb for this offense. Dallas getting up there and will be tempted to pick a top qb and not pay dak . We should swipe him up pay that man and draft all corners and boom panthers are playoff bound . But we have hurney :/

Are you suggesting that signing a player coming off an injury to a big contract is something Hurney wouldn't do?

This is the problem with Hurney being the forever boogeyman on the Huddle.  Even in this hypothetical scenario, he gets blamed for not making the exact same mistake everyone has criticized him for making in the past.  This is like "Thanks, Obama" 2.0.
