Rookies getting lot of playing time

I’m really excited to see how fearless our coaches are in playing the rookies. It is the reverse of Rivera. Injuries have a role of course, but they are also making sure they are ready.

One example is Stantley T-O. He looked really good yesterday. 

• Cornerback Troy Pride Jr. started and played 59 percent of the snaps. Stantley Thomas-Oliver III played 36 percent.

He was very raw when we drafted him with only one year as a CB, but he held his own. Yes the Lions were brutal, but this is great stuff!

This is good coaching, good developmental coaching. That's the kind of stuff that builds long-lasting quality teams. Something tells me that Rhule's team rebuilding experience is on display and being put to the best possible usage.

This team is going to be fun.

Pride has been pretty bad this year but he is a big time athlete. Hopefully we can get some better depth at CB and maybe in year 3-4 he can make a Josh Norman or Corn Elder type leap.

He didn’t let Norman play until Norman was 37 years old.

Remember It took Amini to go down before Ron inserted Norwell.  All because he was a vet and Norwell was a UDFA.
