Looking like McCaffrey will play this weekend

Unless he was threatening behind the scenes to hold out (which admittedly is very possible), it was very dumb timing and plenty of us pointed this out at the time. Imagine how much leverage we'd have in those negotiations following this season. CMC would probably be the one wanting to hold out on re-signing right now to prove he could bounce back and have another huge year again next season

Yeah, I know.

But instead we sign Shaq to a big deal(and he promptly proves he wasn't worth it). This after we let Bradberry go(CRUSHING it in the zone schemes that NYG run, while we play almost all zone) and are likely to let our best OT since Gross go because we can't bother to negotiate with him.

Panthers gonna Panther.

Unfortunately, this is all looking like the truth.

It blows my mind how an organization that has historically struggled so badly at OT and CB can get cocky and just let good guys walk when they finally get lucky and fall backassward into a good one.

16 million.... for last season where they got 5-11 after forcing him the touches to reach a 2x 1k record and now about the same results but hes missed half the season.

fyi panthers are winless with CMC starting this season, might as well give him add a bonus to his deal too!!!. I dare you marty!

CMC has a quad injury and it was bothering him in practice. Uncertain if he will play or not against Denver.

Why bother? We have the best SOS for the tiebreaker with all the 4 win teams and the worst SOS compared to the 5 win teams. That means we drop like a rock to 14 if we beat Denver while the other scrubs lose.

I know if 2019 we still got Burns but dropping 7 or 8 picks almost meant Marty threw away our 3rd to jump up for Little. If we hadn’t dropped due to the meaningless win we still have pick 70ish from that draft. Then again we probably would have traded it to move up to pick 30 so we’d have the fifth year option on Little even though he’ll get released LOL. He’d actually save us $1.5M.

I'd rather sit CMC, but his quad injury occurred last week and flared up today in practice. It's likely that he will manage to play against Denver imo. I think we will beat Denver, but that is the last thing I want to happen. I'll be pull for Denver to win due to the draft implications. All that matters now is staying healthy and drafting as high as possible.
