Panthers bringing in Haskins

It's hilarious that we have so many against bringing him in for virtually nothing, while we paid 60+ million for a QB that can't get the job done.  

If he replaces Grier as a third string or god forbid he replaces PJ as the 2nd string QB it doesn't hurt this team. 

As someone posted I don't think he changes our draft needs.  Just someone to compete for the backup positions.

I think humbled would be sitting on the free agent wire for about a year. Not sure he really learns much of a lesson if someone signs him immediately.

He doesn't strike me as the sort of guy that will make much of a second opportunity. Maybe when he is 4-5 years older.

People only complain about culture when you’re not winning games. If Haskins was out there throwing 4 TDs a game and Washington was winning nobody would care if he was making it rain in the titty bar every night.

It's not about the titty bar. (Although having a coach who just went through chemo and covid risks was a bad decision)

The guy doesn't work hard. He doesn't like tape.

He's going to come in here and do the same thing. Signing him immediately would make him think if they cut me someone else will.

But WHAT IF Rhule was able to drop that evangelical coach-speak to Haskins enough to turn him around and unlock his true potential?  Rhule could prove he is worth his contract with a magic act like that.

More likely scenario we cut him sometime during camp.
