Rhule asked what he looks for in a QB: "You want someone who's elitely intelligent, a tremendous leader. You want someone who's accurate, who has arm talent to make all the throws and who has a history of making plays in crucial situations."

That sounds alot like Zach Wilson

Yeah, Rhule said you want a young QB to have mobility. It helps them extend plays since their processing is slower.

Older guys can get away with not being mobile since they process so quickly.

tldr; goodbye Trask and Jones.

Don't sleep on Trask's mobility.  Watch his movement in the pocket, good ability to slide and climb.  He's more Big Ben than Russell Wilson, but he has good feet, good awareness and enough mobility to extend a play.

I like the roster make up of the team Rhule is coaching. He gets to have a long look at some quality mid to late round talent that consist of the likes of,

Carlos Basham JR

Janarius Robinson

Jabril Cox

Monty Rice

Alex Leatherwood

KJ Britt

Ben Cleveland

Shi Smith

All these guys I have been reading about for mid to late round picks would be great additions they all fit the mold of what we are building here. Any other names jump out to you guys that you can’t wait to see numbers come back from their pro days or more insight on them.

We don’t have any idea if he will be clutch with a game on the line

only time I’ve ever watched him, his last completion came up short and his team lost

    • I’m really having a hard time understanding how this actually went down. -Renfrow expected to make roster as 2nd/3rd string. -Panthers cut Renfrow; Keep Brycen Tremayne, and add UDFA receiver (Dalevon Campbell) to active roster.  -Canales/Morgan say it’s totally up to Hunter whether he wants to come back or not, they would love to have him.    -Renfrow not signed to PS -Panthers trade Adam Thielen -Hunter Renfrow signed to active roster with a raise after an injury to Coker nobody heard about and is likely to start.    Our WR room is now: -Xavier Legette (2024 1st round pick) -Tet McMillan (2025 1st round pick) -Hunter Renfrow (1 year out of the league) -David Moore (Canales’ friend? A guy way past his prime) -Jimmy Horn (Likely a Shi Smith reprint, but has potential 2025 6th round pick, weighs 174 lbs) -Brycen Tremayne (2023 UDFA who was on Washington’s PS for 2 years and caught 1 pass for -2 yards and averaged 300 yards per year at Stanford) -Dalevon Campbell (2025 UDFA had a good preseason but had 1463 yards and 3 TDs over 5 college seasons at 3 different schools). What the hell is going on?
    • Not uncommon for week 1 games. Especially against good defenses. It’s why I prefer my team play these small schools week 1 if they are going to play them. Gives the offense time to get calibrated.
