but they were also a 10-6 team last year so I could see where they talk themselves into not valuing their capital as much.

You really can make an argument either way, and honestly as an organization they could be back and forth about it also.

My theory---Jimmy G is going to be cut (his contract is not guaranteed) if not traded.  Teddy would give them a QB in the event they need a bridge for 1 season, then he can be cut.  I dunno--speculation

Three way trade that sends Jimmy G would make sense.  Maybe their GM thinks highly of him from their time together in NE.

I think we would have to add a player or pick to Teddy for 49ers to do that though.  I can't see them just trading Jimmy for Teddy straight up.  They could just wait for us to cut him if they like him.

 

maybe something like

49ers receive: Teddy B, Donte

Texans receive: Jimmy G, 2 first rounders, 2 2nds,  Shaq, Burns

Panthers receive: DESHAUN YOU fuging KNOW IT WATSON

Burns is our most important player, I wouldn’t do this, and I don’t think the team will trade him. We have enough capital elsewhere to make it work.

Tua plus two #1s would be awfully tempting.

I hope you correct, I just keep thinking they are going to want a really great player on a rookie deal.  Shaq and Donte don't really fit that description.

      Read the first line of my post---then read your response.  A few points---I acknowledge that I have not seen the players on the field yet, something you seem to point out in order to attack my opinion--that is what I call going full  Richard Cranium.  I state that he did not get bullied (trade values don't need performance criteria--they make trades without knowing the performance in the draft--should not have to explain that to you).   He did not get bullied like the trade up last year.  He got us a second rounder back.  How is that like Fitterer last year?  I'll wait for you to answer, but I do not think you will--effectively using things called "facts"

      Seems like a legit HC candidate could wind up in Charlotte.  Lakers and Wizards also need a coach, but there are some big names floating out there. Darvin Ham, Buddenholzer, JJ Reddick, Kenny Atkinson, Jerry Stackhouse… Who ya like to *develop* this young team?

      While I think it'd be silly for anyone to argue that Mahomes wouldn't have done any better here (and is obviously leagues above Bryce), it's worth mentioning...I watched the Raiders/Chiefs game late last year and man did Mahomes and that offense look like absolute trash in a game where Mahomes was continuously running for his life behind an o-line that couldn't block for poo, while trying to throw to receivers getting zero separation, and getting zero help from his run game.  You know, the norm for Bryce every week.  It really did look like I was watching a Panthers game.  That was a game against Aidan O'Connell with a final stat line of 9/21 for 62 yards 0 TDs and yet Mahomes and the Chiefs managed 7 total points up until 2 minutes left in the 4th quarter in arguably garbage time.
