Alabama Pro Day Today at 12 pm

The “he has grit and moxie daring to throw on his pro day” comments are hilarious.  “He was brave enough to show his deep ball is weak, what an awesome competitor he is”.

I don’t understand the notion that he is better/faster at processing the game than the other QBs. Sark set him up with great first reads most of the time. Yes he executed well, but saying he process better than the other QBs is just pure speculation. There is no evidence whatsoever.

Also, how can he not be in better shape after spending years in the Alabama program? Huge red flag in terms of his commitment to trying to be the best.

Sure there are. Few if any QBs throw 50 yards in the air. They throw 35 or 40 yards to a receiver in stride and he goes the other 20 yards. How many of those are there. Lots.

Jake threw it 54 in the air to Moose and hit him perfectly in stride on the biggest stage.

Mac Jones couldn't do that if you gave him 50 tries.

Mac Jones is Teddy 2.0

The guy is very competitive and seems to be a perfectionist who is constantly working. He just doesn’t have the tools to be drafted in the early 1st or maybe 1st at all. 2nd/3rd round is where he SHOULD be, but he will get over drafted because he is a QB who lit it up in college. He would honestly make a decent replacement for Drew Brees in NO...

4th round and no earlier is where he belongs.

Of course some chump will take him earlier.

I just hope it's not us.

I mean he can develop into a decent starter with the right cast around him. Maybe like an Alex Smith? 4th round QBs are backups usually IMO.

Again this is your opinion and alot of credit giving to stuff you can't measure when the guy had the best weapons on the best team...

Intangibles... super football knowledge, quick decision maker, great pass anticpater.. All stuff we don't know will translate when not having the better team every time you come on the field...

Your opinion that isn't collaborated or consensus opinion.. Can make all the throws, good deep ball, elusive in the pocket...

And this Accuracy thing has been proven over and over again as a thing you can fix with better offensive scheme and better surrounding talent... So it shouldn't be considered a supreme attribute...

Dude are you high or is this a joke!!!

you can’t fix accuracy with a better scheme or less or better talent.

    • It would be nice to see #9 prove people like this laughably wrong. That's why many Panthers fans myself included were wanting to see how much time he'd dedicated to his craft following the conclusion of the season but then he showed up and let everyone know he pretty much crawled under a rock. Somehow the Panthers social team though this was rather amusing after what we'd sacrificed for the rights to draft him It's interesting that we go from Levis being least desirable of the class and a complete and total meathead that would alienate himself from his teammates to being talked up as possibly emerging as one of the better young QB's entering the 2024 season. Man what a whirlwind the last 12 months have been for the people who fully bought the hype machine in the lead up to the 2023 NFL draft and did victory laps like they had their very own sports almanac from BTTF. Life comes at you fast folks.
    • You either need to do waaay more drugs or waaay less drugs, your current intake is not right. Sorry I can not advise on which path to take.
    • He's routinely a great watch.  Good content.  I like his optimism on Chubba in our scheme, allows us to bring in Brooks at an optimal pace relative to his recovery (who we got obviously to be our new guy, could become the focal point of this offense) The two news OGs will have no issue playing our offense coming from familiar schemes, one in Hunt being league top, is going to be huge for our running game more than anything.  I also liked him maintaining some optimism with Icky.   Seeing his page and commentary on our defense really puts in perspective how much turnover we have.  It should feel like a much different team (hopefully better) especially that front-7.  Jewell is going to be better than people expect, he was super unheralded for Denver and is just a smart closer who played against the Chiefs routinely well.
