i wouldn't HATE a conditional mid rounder for darnold + drafting a second round QB to develop, let them duke it out while we continue to stack the team with linemen.

i don't really know what the alternative looks like at this point.

I am personally against a 2nd round QB.

I was a big Sam Darnold fan, not any more. Stats-wise hes the worst QB during the his starting era, THE WORST. Whatever happened-coaching, NYC, home-sick, Woman issues etc. Also only has one year of contract control, hes not even worth a late rounder imo. MAaaaaaaaaaaaybeeeee a 2023 7th. Hed have to agree to a one year extension. Like Teddy is better, but a even one for one is ok, I guess. I think the panthers had to pay Teddy 7.5 million today. Could talk the jets into Teddy being a better mentor for Zach than lost soul Darnold. Be doing the jets a favor....Id want at least a extra late rounder in return...

      Btw... only Mitch fugging Marner has a better +/- than Key 🔑!!! And, Mitchy needed 5 more games and almost 100 more shifts to get there.

      I was honestly flabbergasted to see Rod send out Stanky and the boys to to matchup against their top line to start the game. The reason that line has been so effective is because they've been matched mostly against 2nd and 3rd lines all year. You've got last change. Use it to your advantage.

      Nobody played well on defense last night. But, the vitriol towards Chatfield (and to a lesser extent, K'andre) is bigly misplaced. People (not just you) just refuse to accept how bad Slavin has been this season. And, I get it. Canes fans (and informed analysts) have spent nearly a decade trying to explain to casuals just how good Jaccccob is at hockey. 4Nations happened and the hockey watching public started to listen. National media even started floating the idea of creating a new award in his honor. Then this season, he gets hurt. It happens. NBD. But, when he finally came back, it wasn't the same. He'll get back to his old self in no time. Probably just some rust, it'll be fine. Only, it wasnt rust, and he's not fine. He's bad right now. It wasnt just last night. Although, that was absolutely the worst game of his NHL career. Slavin (-4) currently has the 3rd worst +/- of anyone left in the playoffs. We've  been begging the world to recognize Jaccob Slavin's greatness. And, by the time we finally got people to listen, he shits the bed! I blame Kash!
