Aside from football, his family thinks he's a douche and he dumped Olivia Munn.

First one tells me he is a jerk and the second tells me he is blind when it comes to the fairer sex.

Is it not possible they’re the “douches”?

We had a player at SC who was a first round talent (LT who was drafted in the top 10), now headed for a HOF career, whose family were horrible people.  Stole from him, harassed him for more and more money, they were eventually barred from practice, in college and the pros.

You learn, in social work, that there is a lot of toxic dysfunction in families that we know nothing about.  This was difficult to see as a Latina that values family above all else.

So now we have USC fans on the bandwagon for Darnold?

Might want to ask the Auburn fans and Louisville fans how that turned out....

Bandwagon?  A Trojan is a Trojan, no matter their profession, or visibility, and I don’t believe in pumping my guy(s) over another player, if Sam does well here, it’s because of his teammates, the organization, coaches and fans.

I don’t care how Auburn or Louisville fans behaved, i want the team to succeed, it’s a team sport.

I don’t mean any disrespect.

I just meant it more as a warning that if Darnold starts to fail(which is admittedly more likely than not), it might get kind of rough in here for a single player fan.

We had a lot of Auburn fans come for Cam and a few Louisville fans come for Teddy. The Huddle can get a little vicious about it's QB's.

I don't personally believe much in Darnold's ability at the NFL level but I certainly wish him the best. It would be awesome to have a franchise QB again.

I know the type of fan you’re talking about.  very irritating.

This forum is no different than any other concerning the QB position..filled with delusional fanboys, haters and chronic complainers.  I’m a big girl, I can hold my own with the guys.

    • Apparently CSW lost his starting job to Thornton last year. If he can stay healthy I bet Thornton keeps that NB position.
    • I member him staying after practices with only to see he was wearing heavy weight vest, one of his trademarks. He also put in 10 years, right? People forget he was the ST stud that called the snap and made sure everyone lined up right. He was one of the "glue" guys that bought his "lunch pail" to work.... He was a willing solider, all teams need a couple of them. He blocked for sooo many panthers RBs- Davis, lane, Williams, foster, goings and when there was huge injuries he took over the starter duties and had a couple 100 yard games. If you followed hoover, he took the perfect RB path cause he was just a slow heavy one himself....
    • Walker likely depends on a couple of things. What exactly did Dan promise him, to start with.  How much other interest he actually had for a starter job at high pay is another question. It isn’t outside the realm of possibility that he could stay on as a swing tackle waiting to take Moton’s spot when it opens.    I can’t get myself to consider Icky as a viable anything until we see him back on the field.     Hunt seems to be a team player and good guy but I don’t think he is worth what he is being paid. I have him tentatively earmarked for cap causality in the near future.
