That is one player.  Our secondary was ripped apart with only Coleman remaining, replaced with rookies,  and gave some of the worst performances as a unit in Panthers history.

Well the lasting impact of that one player was pretty devastating too.

Yeah, the Kalil move was bad, no doubt.  But ripping the secondary apart was just baffling, and left us struggling to rebuild the unit for a while.

Agreed. Both were essentially things that caused Gettleman to have to make panic moves that were largely bad.

Smith and Jones 1a and 1b homerism aside. Both deserve top spot for different reasons.

Jones, physically, one of the most dominant WRs in the league and has had a great offense around him to take pressure off ever since he got into the NFL.

Smith, pound for pound, the best Receiver in the NFL. Played like he was Megatron's size and put up top 10 all time receiving numbers on a run first offense his entire career.

Evans is #3. Most consecutive seasons to start a career with 1k receiving yards in NFL history, and like it or not, dude has a lombardi to his name.

In fairness, he got 1500 plus yards with Jameis pick six Winston as his qb.

Jameis did throw 30 tds in his last season as a starter. The dude can throw, he just makes stupid mistakes.

He has more talent than the QBs we have fielded not named Newton or Delhomme.

You are correct, that 3 is a hard one tho. Roddy White, Horn, Vjackson, Moose, colston, Meshawn(what are the rules for this?) are a few that give a young Evans a run for 3....in fact I would place Roddy White at 3 this year and by seasons end Evans would pass him.
