Hello and welcome to the first preseason gameday thread of 2021. 

 

Today the Panthers take on the Colts in a game that will largely determine who gets cut tomorrow. Although today won't feature the Carolina Panthers starters, there are some names that will be playing that will be interesting to watch. 

Personally, I am excited to see Marshall, Christensen and Chuba Hubbard in real game action.

He was pretty awful last year. Here's to hoping

PFF had him rated at 61. Their system rates guys between 60-70 as average starters. Assume at the bottom of that so perhaps a little below average.  Here is how everyone ended up.

As always this time of year, it's good to remind everyone that this is only preseason and no one should overreact positively or negatively to what they see today.

Also as always, this warning will go completely unheeded by many of our dimmer bulbs 🙄

It all points straight to the coach. When the roster keeps changing but the core fundamental issues keep recurring, it's not the players.

      Leafs are broken. Out of the playoffs and Matthews done for the year.  It's either a very dangerous game against a team who doesn't give a fug and will leave it all on the ice, or a team who's thrown in the towel with an effort to match. And, yes, I'm sitting in the Miami Airport waiting on my next flight. Will be back in Lenovo both 28 & 29 for the b2b.
