Is Madden 22 worth buying?

Never buy another Madden until there is competition again. EA doesn't know how to make sports games. They make plays that are made only 1 out of every 10 games IRL the norm and everyone has teleporting abilities.

A current generation 2K NFL game would be legendary.  Their basketball games have some flaws, but they are supremely done, and much more fun to play than anything EA puts out.

How? Did you play Madden 21 on next gen? The game play as far as player movements was better and on M22 CMC can even break long runs nobody LBs walk him down on toss plays. Not worth the cash cost right now.

Still no player of the game guess the little stuff don't matter.

Pass D broken will not play another online game till fixed. Just throw bombs the CB will stop or cover flat guy for no reason.

Cause nex-gen is superior, and that also holds true with their games.

I have played madden 21 and madden 22 on my PS5 back to back to see which game feels/looks better. M22 is hands down better in every aspect.

Sure, there are bugs. Most games tend to have bugs when they are first released.

Was legit about to buy it for PC until yesterday I saw that the PC version is the same as the xbox one/PS4 versions(the new game is essentially a roster update). Gunna hold off till next year when the game is actually next gen.

Got it on PC myself.

Pls come be the 3rd Panthers player aside from me and a dude who's name is KeepPounding

Unfortunately, Madden bugs don't get patched unless they interfere with EA's money stream.

As somebody that played Madden 21 up until yesterday, ask me how I know. 😞

As some one who plays it at a pretty high level..madden has made significant strides next generation. Dispite the hate it gets and some of it is warranted, saying a game like nfl 2k5 is better than madden 22 is ridiculous. Those people want some drastic change that just isn't football simulation anymore.

I think they have made pretty big strides to franchise and I have been playing it since the 12th. The people who review bomb it year after year are hell bent on doing it trying to get the NFL license out of ea's hands(which I agree with) but that doesn't mean you should just crap on peoples hard work without honestly giving the product a honest look. I'm enjoying it.

I play Madden, but 2K5 was legit amazing man.  I remember spending so much time on that game and decking out my crib or whatever the hell it was.  They even tried that weird inside the helmet cam thing.  That would be fun today with VR.  This was almost 20 years ago.

    • If you're not playing you can't be considered bad. Aaron Rodgers didn't play either. I'm just saying I watch a LOT of NFL football and I can't recl anyone not named Jimmy Clausen who looked worse.bim not just talking stats. I'm talking about judging talent. A guy can put up ugly stats and still show flashes of the prerequisite talent. That's what was disturbing about Clausen and Bryce. They just flat out didn't look like they had NFL QB talent.
    • I'd argue that not being able to beat out an incumbent starter despite being drafted in the first round could also be quantified as a "bad" rookie season.  Still, 12 of those guys played more than 10 games as a rookie.  Again, Im not saying hes a world beater here, in fact I'd wager he's more likely than not to be another name on this long list of 1st round busts, but I also don't think he's even close to being the worst rookie QB since 2000.   Brandon Weeden - 15 games  Josh Rosen 14 games Paxton Lynch - 5 games Kenny Pickett - 13 games Trey Lance - 6 games, starts  David Carr- 16 games  Joey Harrington - 14 games Patrick Ramsey - 9 games  Kyle Boler - 11 games JP Losman - 4 games, no starts Matt Leinart - 12 games  JaMarcus Russell - 4 games, 1 start Brady Quinn - 1 game, no starts Josh Freemen - 10 games EJ Manuel - 10 games  Jake Locker- 5 games, no starts Johnny Manziel - 5 games, 2 starts Sam Darnold - 13 games Dwayne Haskins - 9 games  Zac Wilson - 13 games Mac Jones - 17 games (probably shouldn't be on here, actually had a solid rookie year)
    • A lot of those guys barely played as rookies.
