That would be ridiculously stupid. Make our OL depth even worse for no reason at all? He's the best interior OL on our roster right now.

Yeah, that’s not saying a lot if he is our ‘best interior lineman’ and he could infect others in a very close physical sport

frankly, if I’m the owner of a billion dollar sports team, I try and find a way to move him   I can’t see risking 51 other players plus all the staff for a guy that wouldn’t be third string on a decent team.

This.

Not wearing a motorcycle helmet is just natural selection at work.

Not getting vaxxed is recklessly endangering others.

And no it's not debatable on the facts.

Anti vaxxers can make all the propaganda based appeals to emotion they want, the verifiable facts say otherwise.

Oh it is very much debatable, that's what science is based on. This website just won't allow it.

Disinformation is becoming our most dangerous problem. People keep posting baseless nonsense like it’s the facts and it has to stop. It’s one of the main reasons we are in this situation.

Not debatable on legitimate merit. Very much debatable through misinformation, lack of facts and distortion.  There is no hard data that gives merit to the argument not getting vaccinated is in the overall public interest. Failing to do so is recklessly endangering others lives and health.  Continuing to believe and tout non scientific propaganda and misinformation falls into the same category.

There are good reasons Zod won't allow it.

every one of those college football games were 50-100k super spreader events.

Nuh uh, "super spreader events" are only when republicans get together (sarcasm)

There's college football, pro wrestling, pro football, pro basketball, pro baseball, concerts. All jam packed full.

And just like helmets they should force idiots to get the vax.

Daley has been named the starter, but I'm excited for some potential Deonte Brown if Daley can't stay upright during the game.

It's the Rivera era all over again. We have to quietly hope a nagging but not serious injury forces the staff's hand into playing the most talented players. Oh wee mayne.

I just don't get it.

It was that way all the way back to Fox.

We all knew and could see Jake was head and shoulders above Rodney but it took being way down at half to force a change.

Look if I am going to lose I would rather do it being aggressive. Brown is the aggressive choice.

If veteran players are failing on the field due to lack of ability, it's easy for them to use the excuse of lacking talent to work with. If young players with talent are failing on the field due to not being ready it looks bad on them as coaches.

Most football coaches are fairly conservative and self preserving by nature. Playing the vets is the conservative and self preserving call... until the boss man calls them out for not playing the young talent when they start using the excuse that the vets lack talent and that usually takes awhile to happen.

    • Yeah and I am doubtful he can offer that consistently. I don’t have many years left at my age and in my view we have wasted two and this whole exercise with him was always a three year minimum.  I am out on that with a guy I don’t believe in, and never believed in, it has sucked. To me it is a costly detour off the right track. Years.    But I am not so rigid that I can’t see excellence. He needs to display it though, consistently before I change my outlook.
    • No, when I said rage, I meant rage, which only applies to certain fans on this board. Your timeline of trying to assess whether he is the future or not is really tied to the discussions surrounding his second contract. If this team is going to commit to some monster contract while he has shown nothing but glimpses of brilliance would be deservedly worrisome, so the clock is genuinely ticking for him to settle into something resembling his final form. Perhaps a best case scenario is that he plays well, the team succeeds, but he does so with a more limited role that makes the rest of the league view him as a game manager, and his second contract value reflects that. Then he continues to improve and becomes a bargain comparatively while not handicapping the team around him, and we enter an era of consistent championship competitiveness that the fanbase has craved for decades and has never really experienced before. But that requires many, many things to go right and for Bryce himself to facilitate that if he ends up being the quarterback of the future.
    • Exactly. And the flame throwers as well, get location benefits from not going all out. But they have it in reserve.  Not sure how much Greg had but he was an artist.  There was a YouTube I came across last year or maybe even 2023 and I don’t how to even find now but it had two NFL QBs I want say one was Carr from the Raiders but I don’t really remember  The point of it is they stood side by side throwing identical distances to identical targets. Radar gun was used.  They threw the normal effort (not all out) and it was measured etc. Then they were asked to throw their ‘fastball’. They were missing and most often they were missing high. It demonstrated the same principle.    edit: and applying that to arm strength, give me the guy that doesn’t need max effort to have good velocity. The margins are so narrow with less velocity in tne NFL the defenders can Close on it and this is a league where they value down to the 100th of a second level. It is that tight
