I really like that he’s not allowing the team to get too high after beating the Saints. In the press conference he talked a lot about the focus being on the next game and what everyone needs to do to improve.  
 

Let’s see what happens Thursday because Texans will not be an easy out

Probably our most under rated president.  Very capable, yet modest, even tempered, apolitical (at least compared to the most recent presidential cycles), and a general who was skeptical of the 'military industrial' complex and its influence on U.S. foreign policy.

Looking forward to seeing how our boys come out Thursday. Short week coming of a big win and we have to travel. Rivera lead teams were known for coming up short after a big win and losing coming of a bye.

Rhule said something during camp confidential that I've been using as a motivational phrase and that is "if you look at any successful person they always say one thing, wake up every day and work harder than everybody else"......I have a feeling the team will be ready to play

Yeah, Rivera’s “the season is four quarters” talk always irritated me and made me wonder if it played a factor in the slow starts.

    • Kon is a damn stud but it’s not any individual player’s team. All of the “big 3” are incredibly and equally important IMO. And LaMelo makes Kon way better (look at his shooting splits with LaMelo on the floor vs without. Also Moose and even Miles are important cogs. Honestly think we’re 1 piece away from being legit top contenders if the young guys continue to develop the next year or two. I trust this FO to be patient to find that piece within the next 2-3 years and not force anything. Plenty of time and even without adding anyone we have the pieces in place overall already to compete with any team. 
    • We lost 2 very close and winnable games against top teams in the league while missing 3 critical players despite 2 of our top 3 players shooting unusually terribly. Still split the 4 games that Moose and Miles were suspended, winning the most important one vs the Hawks. This ain’t yo mama’s Hornets man. Hopefully Coby can go soon but even if not Moose and Miles are huge additions for our starting lineup and bench rotations. Schedule is pretty tough after these next 4 but I think we’ll take care of business the next 4 to get to .500 then finish slightly above .500 after that to get a 7 or 8 seed. Keep it rolling boys. Also Kon is having an insanely historic rookie season as a shooter. Like truly can’t believe my eyes watching this kid level of historic. Man what a fuging home run of a draft pick and exactly what this team needed to take that next step forward. He’s gonna shatter the rookie 3 point and franchise 3 point records. Has a real chance to be the 2nd best 3 point shooter ever or dare I say even get to Curry’s level (as a pure shooter, Curry obviously has way more to his game that has made him a GOAT).
    • I hear you but yeah like you say, above average. His numbers were good. You’d think it would be a no brainer. Anyhow… I guess the new staff is also fine with him walking?    I hope if we sign him there isn’t some secret issue of his that led to him not being valued.
