Titans fan here.

Looks like you guys might have yourselves a Tannehill. Darnold made some extremely impressive throws tonight. It’s amazing what a change of scenery, coaching, and addition of a couple weapons will do.

I’ll be interested to see how he fairs against a top tier defense.

He sees one everyday in practice.  The #1 defense actually.

We have a QB that isn't only looking out for his completion percentage and is the real deal.

And his comp % is still very good. 68% on over 8 yards per attempt and nearly 300 yards per game. That’s just filthy honestly. Only 1 pick which was a total fluke and more of a fumble (boneheaded decision 100% on Sam, but not really indicative of an interception). You’d like to see some more passing TDs but he does have 3 rushing TDs so that’s really not a big deal.

Very impressed with Sam Darnold tonight. These are the games where your franchise quarterback has to show up and he did in a big way. If he continues to build on this we have our man no doubt. But we have to get this ground game going and put him in the best situation possible the next couple of games are no cakewalk.

Agreed. These are the types of games I was talking about Sam needing to show. Texans are an ok defense but he stepped up and delivered. Hope he continues to get better.

    • I would say that seems like an odd comment from Morgan, but at the same time it's almost impossible to find a college QB declaring for the draft to have less physical ability than BY so you can assume almost anyone you bring in would be your go to QB sneak/designed run guy.
    • Gronk is the best TE of all time, but he also played with Brady. Clarke was great, but had Peyton and in an era TE's didn't make crazy money. Kittle is great, but the two times he's made the SB, he was still on his rookie contract for one, and the other the 49ers had Purdy on a cheap rookie deal which help them build the rest of the roster. So again, it's not about not wanting an elite TE, of course it would be nice.  But realistically, in today's NFL, unless that elite TE with a top end TE salary is on a team with a GOAT level QB and/or other serious cap savings (i.e. key players on rookie deals), then I think it's not a good use of cap space.
    • This place was the poo pre tepper with tons of hilarious posters like phillyB. Joined in the 2000s during the 07 season and have been here bitching about this team since. but yeah its sadly been dying a slow death, every time I come to this site I am surprised its still up. I think the 2015 season was the absolute peak, the Panthers and this board especially just haven't "felt" the same since then. Igo should really sell the board since he clearly doesn't care anymore. Also, Reddit blows and the Bryce defenders on there need Jesus.
