Hey guys, remember how after just having the most watched TNF game in years and having a great performance from our rejuvenated young QB in a win despite all of the injuries we incurred, the next day national media glossed over it to talk for hours on end about Justin Fields getting his first start?

I'd love to see him behind a bad Oline.

I don't think he's as good as the hype right now. He often has all day to throw.

That’s the case for any QB tho. If Tom Brady played behind a trash O line he’d have been out of league a decade ago

I think those days are fading, every time I hear the panthers mentioned now days it's competent, young talented. Maybe not hyped. But clearly well thought of

Definitely feel like it's starting to shift under Rhule.  I feel we're on that precipice similar to what happened in Seattle once Schneider and Carroll got there.

I saw plenty of the game on the RedZone channel, they even showed clips of how Fields can't get past one read and holds the ball too long.

This is how it's clear you're lying. Even Greg Olsen said you'd love to be able to say make this read or that read but the guys aren't getting open and he's getting killed within 2 seconds. Greg pointed out two missed reads the entire game. If he was throwing the ball to avoid each of those sacks he would have wound up for 5-6 interceptions.

Imagine if we did draft Fields with all else equal. We're sitting at 3-0, Darnold playing great, trying to awkwardly figure out what to do with a guy we spent a top ten pick on.

But all else wouldn't be equal because we'd be missing Jaycee Horn and probably wouldn't be far and away the number 1 defense in the NFL in every major statistical category. Just a complete lose lose.

Hate that prevent defense. They were all over Lamar on the first three downs, hence the loss of 9 yards. Go to a 3 man rush and give Lamar all the time in the world to find a wide open guy. 3 men rush never works well against a good QB unless it’s a Hail Mary.

Yeah calling a defensive  timeout allows the Ravens to set up a play and regain composure. Guess that’s why the Lions are winless….

    • there is one common denominator in the 2003 & 2015 Carolina Panthers teams they both had ELITE top tier Qb play.  it would require a MVP type of season from Bryce Young to have the same type of success that Jake Delhomme had in  2003 & or Cam Newton in 2015 & lead this team to a SuperBowl is this going to happen or is there any reason to believe Bryce Young is capable of playing similar to Jake Delhomme in 2003 or Cam Newton in 2015 ? well no there is no absolutely NO reason whatsoever to believe that this is going to happen in 2026 ..just saying
    • I'd actually like to see Cherelus get a fair shot to win the job in camp. Wallace is decent in drop zone coverage, but he gets abused in the play action game and is often times out of position in the run game. It might just be me, but I swear every time I watch Wallace play, I see multiple plays a game were it looks like he's just trying to be blocked. Watching Cherelus last year he at least looked like he was trying to hit someone on every play. Wallace plays like a LB who doesn't trust what he sees and it makes him passive and cautious versus Cherelus who regardless of if his decision is right or wrong goes at it 100%.
    • Agreed.  Hasn’t happened to me either, but I feel very strongly about it.  That’s not just one of the worst things a woman could do to a man, it’s a power inherent to only women and is one of the worst things a HUMAN being can do to another.  A man can’t “hide” a pregnancy or maternity.  It’s impossible.  And that sucks for anyone that has to go through that. I always got a weird vibe off her and just found her very unlikeable.  Annoying even.  I’ve always been good at reading people and there was just something about her to me that was off-putting, somewhere under the surface.  And here we are…  she is despicable.
