I've compiled how we stand in various categories of Defensive Stats (using NFL.com).  They quantify just what a juggernaut of defense Phil Snow is creating.

#1 Rushing YPC (2.6)

#T2 Rushing FDs (8 total)

#2 Passing FDs (23)

#2 Passing Yds Allowed

#T2 Rushing TDs Allowed (5)

#3 Passing Completion %

#3 Points Allowed (to Phil & Den)

#3 Net Pts Scored/Allowed

#T6 Passing TDs Allowed (3)

That's why I call our D a Snow Storm

Hmmmm.  Your stats are different than the ones I saw on NFL GSIS.  I'll have to check and see if there's been an update.

Checked and we're still #1 in

Yards allowed

Rushing Yards allowed

Passing Yards allowed

#2 in Points allowed (behind Denver)

(if anyone wants to access this... username & password are both NFL).

Not nearly as bad as ice storms.  They really bring out the stupid in people.

If there's somebody around here who knows about cold and ice, it's @Jon Snow

no reason to limit to "snow".    BLITZIN' BLIZZARD

(although a capital L and capital I next to each other makes it read "BUZZARD".  Kerning and font choices are important, people)

Well, Phil does kinda look like a buzzard.  Just saying.

    • https://www.drafttek.com/NFL-Trade-Value-Chart.asp Going by this chart that won’t get it done, at all.  both of our 5th rounders are worth 56, total.    The 51st is valued at 390. Moving to 41 takes 100 points. In the second where we are, it is basically 10 points per slot. You can get in front of TB for 60 points. Baltimore at 45.  Which who would do that for 56 points? You are on a wing and a prayer.    To realistically have a good shot at these top guys, outside of Golday, it is gonna take at least 100 points, I am thinking.  And when they go, Golday’s market probably gets a lot hotter.  Just going by the rankings/valuations, I am thinking if you realistically want to assure you get your guy it will take trading back in the first. Which is why I have been saying to do that if we can.  For example 19 is valued at 875. 21 is 800. That, plus one of the 5ths gets you to 100 points which you theoretically could use to get to 41.    I think there are going to be several good options for us at 19, if we are good with taking what is left at 21-23 we can get a good player plus fund a trade up for one of these LBs which is what I am thinking makes sense.
    • Alabama money line is a big one.
    • I'm just letting everyone know he's on the list in the second tier, not that I think it gets there because Donovan wants the job.  UNC is waiting on Lloyd and Arizona's run to end, if that doesn't work out then Donovan is likely the new head coach.
