I'm sorry but this isn't a winning record team.

There was too much good in the first half to just ignore it and only focus on the negatives.

Unfortunately there are 2 halves but this is a marathon and this game will serve as a great learning experience...

I'm traveling and was unable to access the Panthers radio stream so listened to the Cowboys broadcast...

...trust me, they were taken aback in the first half.

My favorite quote was "well we need to get this 1st down and not give to back to the Panthers because apparently they score at will"... 👏🤣

(14-13 at the time)

As "some of us" have been saying for a while...

...patience folks, The Appaloosa Model will deliver 😉

A one-score game loss on the road is nothing to agonize over.   People can say the failed come back was in "garbage time" but the last I checked, Dallas didn't sub in their second string defense en masse.  It was a matter of too little, too late.

Most reasonable post I have ever seen from you.

We had the lead at halftime despite a botched call

3rd quarter was a disaster, but we bounced back and made it a one possession game in the 4th vs a team that has beaten the Chargers and almost beat the Bucs

Not sure how the takeaway is then "this isn't a winning-record team"

We have way more problems than we do solutions this year. We have been hyped all week about being the number 1 defense and a historic defense at that to give up 36 point to a middle of the road team who was on a short week. Sorry guys but this was the reality check and we are still a 8-9 team at best this year.

I know I’m not talking to the brightest bulb in the box, but you do realize 9 wins would constitute a winning record right?

Never seen so many crackheads in one area. One bad game and it’s suddenly, “we won’t win another game”, “this is an average defense”, “Tepper doesn’t deserve to win”

Hand over you fanship cards, ripping them up on site. In fact should be banned from speaking on sports ever again.

I saw nothing this weekend that I didn't expect to happen.........I have no illusions about the Panthers.......they are a mid pack team with some clever coaching. There defense is undersized but fast and with a lot of schemes from coaching but appear to be weak against a good running team............Dallas made adjustments on defense that exposed Carolina and Darnold in the 2nd half.

Darnold is who I expected he is.........a reasonable game manager but not a game changer QB.........that's fine as there are only a handful of them around anyway.

and to go back on my old band wagon of an O line is the foundation of all wins.............we you saw the lack of that in how the Panthers offense was most of the 2nd half......

3-0 and its playoff bound.................3-1 and the sky is falling........fans are like investors....they over react in both directions. Nothing unusual about there here either.

Dallas took there foot off the pedal. They could have easily scored two more on us. I like the fight we have to claw back but winning teams don't claw back. I honestly would have rather seen a egg and shrugged it off than poor to no adjustments and a ass kicking in the second half. The Oline will lose a lot of games for us this season. Until we fix that unfortunately we probably are 500 or worse. I guess the positive is that it is talent holding us back more than coaching.

    • After listening to Morgan's presser twice, I came away with some key beliefs. First of all, I don't think he's a bullshitter. What you see is what you get. When he says something, he means it.  The Teppers really have evolved as owners. Morgan has mentioned how they're easy to work with--a pleasure to work with a few times now. There seems to be a good relationship between all of them (and include Dave Canales on that). We'll see if it lasts. Yes, no one wanted to come to Carolina with the previous management, but that seems to have changed. The team signed arguably the top Edge, LB and OT on the market, two of them on pretty good deals and one on what I'll say is "not a bad one." And, credit Sunshine Dave "Flowers and Cotton Candy" Canales for helping to change the culture. Morgan mentioned getting guys--and I'm paraphrasing--that are not only great football players but great people. Don't look for us to be acquiring any James Pearce types anytime soon, just saying. We'll see if that holds true in the future. Dan Morgan really has set up the Panthers to take the BPA/BAP. He mentioned it at least a couple of times, and he doesn't seem pressured to pinpoint a particular position. He just wants quality players that will help the team. This is how it's going to be (to your joy or dismay, probably for as long as he's here), and personally I love it. Many of us know how Morgan was when he played: aggressive! That's what he's going to be when making acquisitions. He explicitly said it, and emphasized it. All avenues are open (think FA, waivers...the draft)! Personally, as long as it's controlled aggression and not reckless aggression, I love it.  On KP: "Mobility is big in this league."  He basically says if another QB is the BPA while drafting--we're going by our board, people--we're going to add them.        ...
    • Canes are so fascinating. Despite inconsistent defense and poor goalie play they keep winning.
    • I like Morgan's approach but I'll wait for a few winning seasons before giving too much praise.
