Watching Rashawn Slater be great makes me sad and angry.

Rashawn Slater is an absolute stud at LT.

Fitterer admitted how hard it is to find quality OL talent by trade, and apparently free agency too given how bad the free agent acquisitions have been. You would think in all his years of experience he would have realized LT was the premium position to draft in the top 10 over a CB.

The Panthers offensive line is now worse than even last year. We could have had Slater protecting Darnold and the entire line and offense would look much better.

I wanted Oline early and often in the draft too, but  The draft is over and done with. Dwelling on what might have been isn't going to help this team and will probably only depress you.

Wish we had jumped up a couple spots in last years draft for Herbert and then taken slater this year

Drafting OL high in the draft helps protect QBs?

Are you suggesting the FO should have listened to a random fan on draft night?

Doesn't matter if we got Slater. Its the interior play that is truly abysmal. Daley and Miller both gave up sacks. Miller had a false start and hold as well.

Only Issue is.

as nice as Slater would be.   The bulk of our issues on the OL has been on the interior.

I mean it's just kind of comical to think about the fan reaction if it came out that the FO made a pick based on a random fan's opinion.
