So you have nothing to say about your about face. What happened Dr. Phil? Did you lose your patience? Or are you one of those do as I say types? The Panthers losing a couple games brought out the real Dr. Phil. Hypoctrite.

Be real. If the Panthers lose the next 12 games in a row some will still be called miserable, negative doom and gloomers who can’t see the positives.

Let's be real. If we lose the next 12 games? The only ones left here will be the masocist who love misery. So basically, the same crew.

Oh great. Another we suck thread. Is there anyone here who hasn't made a "I'm mad" thread? For the love of Zod, get it out of your system now. Because evidently, 87 "I'm mad" threads aren't enough.

The mods need to shut down these negative threads that repeat the same thing.

I feel like Minnesota is the type of team we have been building our team to beat. Good receivers, not very mobile QB.

If that is what they have been building the team to beat, it won't be successful for long, if at all. Those guys are the past. The NFL has followed the college game and trended toward athletic, mobile QBs more and more each year for a long time now.

oh my... more pity party.

Still on year two of a "complete rebuild". This means everything can't be addressed during one draft and one free agency with a new GM.

Growing pains will happen.

Look all, I get it...our story is much too sad to be told.

Some of you need to write your own daytime soap opera.

Sam has proven to be more athletic and mobile than he's being given credit for.  🤷‍♂️

He is just athletic period. He can run and obviously led the league in rushing TDs and these weren't only just 1 yard sneaks. We really should be running MORE with him as the option plays attack the edge where we have somewhat competent blocking and if the DE crashes in on CMC or the RB it's free yards.

I'd be doing at least 5 runs with him a game.

Who are the NFCS qbs?

I have had a few days to think about the Eagles loss and came to this conclusion.  This is not a playoff team, and primarily because the interior of this line Paradis - Daley - Miller may be the worst in the NFL.

I project we will finish 8-9 or 9-8 at best and miss the playoffs.  Those who are calling for double routes to Anderson and Moore need to get real.  There simply isn't enough time for Darnold to step up into hese throws when they're constantly pushing linemen into his face.  Defenses will continue to play us like the Eagles did on Sunday, sit on our routes, and send pressure up the middle.

At this point, why not play Brown?  He can't be much worse, can he?

2/10

    • You literally did it right there and didn't even remember it. Sorry long Friday.
    • TMac to finish up Feels good after pads came on. Physicality is a little different, playstyle is a little different. Refs let the players play, so he has to earn his stripes to get calls and just has to be better playing through contact. Focusing on staying confident and listening to coaches. Not much has changed for him, still trying to be his authentic self. Was asked about boxing practice he was seen doing. He's done that since he was a kid because his dad was a boxer and taught his siblings. Was the youngest and got beat up the most, but now he's the fourth of sixth children. Boxing helps with his cardio and being reactive with his hands to the ball + DB. Admits to struggling the first couple of days, hats off to the DB corps for making him better every single day but had his best day on Wednesday. Even the best get got. Just have to remain confident in preparation and abilities. Confidence will take you only so far, and that's where his resilience plays a factor. XL is authentic and great to have in the room. Can rely on him to be the same guy every day. They make each other better. Everybody feeds off of each other and when one person wins they all win. Happy to be a part of the receiver room. Was asked about how he was laughing harder than everybody else at XL getting his feet in the water off the back of the boat: "Man he needs to be stopped bro... He can't be serious but he was serious. It's all good." Playing against the increased amount of press he's facing in practice is helping him get more physical. His job is to catch the ball, so if it touches his hand he has to come down with it. Only catches with one hand if he needs to, but that gives the QB a bigger catch radius. Had a pregame routine where he did a 360 one-handed catch, but doesn't do it anymore. Working on being a pro: Getting into the facility early and getting treatment, eating better, etc. Just wants to win re: rookie goals. Anything he can do to help the team win. "I'm looking for to the season man and keep pounding."
    • DJ Wonnum up next Felt the defense came out ready to work at all levels and took over practice. New standard around here. Young guys have to know they're coming in to work. Last year was not the standard. Nic and Princely are fun. Different personalities but loves what they bring to the room. Sky is the limit for them. Nic sits next to Wonnum, Princeley sits next to Jones II. Allows them to be better mentors. Feels great and ready to go Incoom's athleticism allows him to bend and get low even to compensate for not being the biggest guy. Can set the edge. EDGE guys are helped when the ILBs can get home because it allows them to be a little more free while still in scheme. DB being back means his dominance is back. Can set the edge from the 3 or wherever he's at to make the runs bounce to the EDGE guys. Winning mentality and standard this year. Championship level from practice to how you live off of the field. Accept greatness and excellence with guys wanting to come to work every day. Not settling for anything less. Been in guys' shoes that are fighting for roster spots so he knows how to address them. Remembers not knowing what's next, especially as a rookie. Have a clear mind and ask the older guys a lot of questions. Has a good relationship already with Pat Jones II due to knowing each other and talking football all of the time. Can make hand gestures and know immediately what to adjust. Taking care of his body and excited to start the season. Getting it acclimated to football again by being able to tackle and bring players to the ground. Didn't know they were playing live tomorrow. Don't tell me it'll be "thud." Browns next week will allow them to hit somebody else and get a feel of what a different team is doing. Also allows the team to see where they're at on offense and defense. Ready to play football. Not worried about the QB matchup for Cleveland, going to play hard regardless of who is back there.
