Is the Darnold Experiment Over?

Sam will be Sam.

we can improve the OL and the results will improve.  Just like there was a bump from him coming to Car from NY and an improved environment.

But just like Teddy…he is what he is.  He isn’t a great QB.   That’s in his DNA.   And you can put a great OL in front of him and his Sam Darnold moments will still exist….because he has always been that guy.  Here, NY and USC.

He is Jake minus the great intangibles Jake had early on.  And the intangibles were huge for Jake.

What is that 12 drops today?

And how many drives or attempted drives were stalled due to drops , Anderson, Moore, Hubbard and a cast of 100’s ..

Sam may have had his 3-4 th bad game in a row, but I can’t help but think of half those drops had been caught , we might have come out of it with at least a fieldgoal ..

Too bad Panthers didn't bring in a veteran backup for Darnold like many here thought we should.

My stance since the season started. I had no idea what we were getting with Sam, but PJ and Grier (before the axe) is straight up amateur hour poo

Like I said in another thread, he isn't great but isn't terrible. There have been so many drops and Brady loves to abandon the run. If our receivers, more specifically Robby caught passes thrown his way the game would be different. Darnold has been alright today.

First play of the game interception. That's the opposite of great or even alright.

Seriously he’s a work in progress. He’s shown some progress and he’s had issues. Expecting him to play like a franchise QB when this OLine is basically the same he’s had with the Jets the last few years is unreasonable. He played well enough for us to win if there wasn’t a ton of drops by the receivers. Somehow you can’t expect him to continually outperform when he’s put in an unfavorable down and distance after each drop.

I truly don’t understand how this is even tolerated around here.

The mental gymnastics one must perform to defend this fellow

Sam is Jekyll/Hyde. Some think the light will finally stay on but through the last three games we've seen the exact same Sam Darnold the Jets did for three years. It is madness to expect a miracle. The only rationale would be his age but that is meaningless if it just isn't there upstairs.

Sam did what he used to do with the Jets: overcame awful OL protection and 10 drops by his receivers to put them in a position to win. Then the overrated defense lost the game cause they can't stop a nose bleed.

Sam did his job. The rest of the team didn't.

    • Since its release in the early 1990s, QuickBooks +1-844-476-5438 has grown to become the highest rated and most popular accounting software solution for small businesses. QuickBooks +1-844-476-5438 helps businesses effectively manage their inventory, sales and payroll and offers a host of other important items for smaller businesses when it comes to their financial records. However, like any software program, there is always room for user error and there are some common errors that every QuickBooks user should be aware of. This article explores 10 of the most common errors that QuickBooks +1-844-476-5438 users make. The list includes setup errors (e.g. using too many accounts and sub-accounts), procedural errors (e.g. using the Write Checks window to pay payroll taxes) and other errors such as not regularly checking the balance sheet statement and not exploring third party options that expand the capabilities of QuickBooks. Here is a list of the 10 most common QuickBooks reporting errors and how to avoid them: 1. Not Setting Sales Tax Preferences If sales tax is owed on items that a business sells, the sales tax preferences must be set up in QuickBooks +1-844-476-5438 to keep the records accurate. To set sales tax preferences, go to Edit—Preferences—Sales Tax icon—Company Preferences—Owe Sales Tax and then choose either As of Invoice Date or Upon Receipt of payment. 2. Not Reconciling Accounts To ensure the business account register is correct, accounts must be regularly reconciled. This includes checking and savings accounts, loans, taxes and more. To reconcile an account, open the Banking section, click on Reconcile, then enter statement dates and end balances. After each item in the Checks and Payments column is checked off, the bottom right corner should read zero.  3. Writing a Check Without Entering a Bill When a bill arrives, some business owners imply use the Write Check feature to pay the bill. The first step when a new bill arrives should be to enter the bill in the Enter Bills window. This creates an accounts payable. Then, go to Pay Bills and indicate the bill you want to pay. This takes care of the accounts payable for that vendor and allows you to use QuickBooks +1-844-476-5438 to properly manage your cash flow and plan for future expenses. 4. Using the Write Checks Window to Pay Payroll Taxes As payroll is processed, QuickBooks reporting software keeps track of how much payroll tax the business owes and records that amount in the Payroll Liabilities window. However, if payrolls taxes are paid in the Write Checks window, the amount paid will not be properly deducted from the Payroll Liabilities window. Paying these payroll taxes directly in the Pay Liability window will make the proper deductions and keep the books straight. 5. Not Reviewing P&L and Balance Sheet Statements These statements give valuable information about the health of the business and can help catch errors before they become costly mistakes. These valuable statements should be reviewed regularly. 6. Too Many Accounts and Sub-Accounts One benefit of QuickBooks +1-844-476-5438 financial reporting software is the ability to create accounts and further organize them into sub-accounts. Think carefully about the logical ordering of account information but try to group things into as few categories as possible to avoid complicating the system. 7. Entering a Bill or Writing a Check for Loan Payments Many business owners use the Enter a Bill or the Write a Check windows to make loan payments each month. A better strategy is to go to Banking—Loan Manager—Set Up a New Loan. After following the directions to set up the loan, the next step is to click the Set Up Payment option. Once this is in place, QuickBooks +1-844-476-5438 reporting will automatically enter the payment each month and also keep track of the principle and interest. 8. Skipping the Receive Payments Step When money comes in, many QuickBooks +1-844-476-5438 users go right to the Make Deposits screen. However, it should first be recorded in the Receive Payments window so the invoice will be shown as paid. 9. Not Backing Up the Data It’s best to plan for the unexpected. In this case, that would be a computer crash that wipes out the QuickBooks +1-844-476-5438 reporting files. Business QuickBooks files should be backed up at the end of each day they are used. 10. Not Expanding QuickBooks’s Capabilities There are many apps, add-ons and consolidation software that work to expand the capabilities of QuickBooks reporting. These can help with more complex needs such as preparing consolidated financial reports. For businesses with extra needs, it is wise to look into other software that will help you get the most out of QuickBooks +1-844-476-5438.
