I was right and y’all were wrong 😑 I was crushed on this site earlier this year when I said draft Mac jones ! And now look at him he’s great while we’re struggling with darnold . I knew Mac was the real deal but y’all stay lurking with Jason la canforas draft ratings . Lol seasons done I hope the giants beat us bro so we can get a real qb

Mac Jones is playing about how I would expect Mac Jones to play.

He was never nearly as bad as some people on this forum made him out to be.  It took me awhile into the draft process to warm up to him, but the more you watched of him, the more you were impressed by his football IQ and accuracy.

However, the concerns with Mac Jones weren't his floor.  The concerns are his ceiling.  And I still wonder just how good he can be.  Still a lot more to be proven on his end.

The ole---"I say many things and when I appear to be right, I can't handle it."  Nobody endorsed Jones on here more than I did--and I have not made any similar comments.  Reason?  I know it is all a guess and subject to change and interpretation.

I feel a magical year . 8 of those loses came late and by a td or less sounds familiar? 2014 vibes ? What happened the next year 2015 15-1 super bowl appearance what if I told you this team is better ? Really all comes down to daronold but I think we hit the lotto . I will be betting $100 on us winning the super bowl . Don’t be shocked if it’s a jags panthers or panthers patriots "

      I don’t remember Mills from the USFL days just when he was in NO.  But when you saw Smitty it screamed oh yeah, this guy has something. Immediately. So, have not seen anything that dramatic with Young. All I know about him says he is solid with his character and smarts and don’t see a lot of that translating into screaming he really has something. I think the people that say he could possibly acceptably run an offense designed around him, with top flight talent in support, are probably about right. But I can’t see any Pro Bowls or lofty accomplishments in my crystal ball.

      I thought I read they’d still be there but as a backup in case of malfunction.  So it’s not so much a goodbye as it is they’re being sidelined (I’ll see myself out)

      Their forecheck is relentless because they are so physical and heavy.  It’s just a perfect mashup for how they play. Florida before Paul Marice played just like us. Speed but with finesse.  Paul made them but into playing heavy. They went and got players that added to that style he wants and it works.  Plus they have the best goalie in the league.  That helps more than anything. The canes have got let Koochie be their guy he will never become the star that most think he will if rod keeps sticking with vets that flame out.    1. Koochie or a Soros type player  2. Switch to zone defense  3. Get heavier.    like I said, I love Rod. Best pro coach ever in the Carolinas sports buy he is holding us back with his philosophy and style.  He is the reason.  He can change all of that with decisions.
