Oh right. I must have had it the other way around. I wish we would get an offensive minded head coach for once, feels like we haven't had someone that truly knows how to run an offence for well over a decade

I really feel like Rhule is coaching like it is 1975. In the NFL is is very important for your defense and offense to compliment one another.
2000 Ravens and 2015 Broncos are the last two teams I can remember carrying a bad to mediocre offense to the Super Bowl and winning it. So it doesn’t happen often.
I feel like Rhule is still coaching like he is in college and not the NFL.

...Tepper is REALLY gonna have to open the wallet to attract a decent replacement...

That won't be a problem.

Most folks don't really comprehend how big a number $1 BILLION really is...

To put it in perspective >> if you are sitting across the table from benefactor who had been handing you $1 each and every second 24-hours per day, AND just handed you your $1 billionth dollar...

...you'd have been sitting there since 1989.

Again, that's every second 24 hours per day...Tepper's worth $12-14 billion depending on the source.

Week Teddy had almost 4,000 passing yards with two 1,000 yards receivers and a another receiver at 851...

Yeah and couldn’t throw a deep pass and checked down on 3rd and long. Once teams realized this they just kept their safeties in the box. He went to Denver for a 6th.

Your worship of the super wealthy is really weird, man.

Give some credit to Joe Burrow for turning his own career around.  Hindsight is 50/50, but it looks like Burrow had a lot more to do with LSU's success than Brady.  Dude is a legit QB at the NFL level, while none of our QBs have improved at all.

Joe Burrow and the LSU guys all had career years in college.

Teddy had a career year.  DJ, Robbie, Curtis  all did too.

maybe Sam Darnold is just really bad.

I'm not so sure he's good at drawing up plays.  But it doesn't matter how good it's drawn up if you don't know when to call it or what personnel you need when you do.

I think I opponents understand it better than the guys running it, it’s like they’ve figured out tendencies according to the formation. Screens are getting blown up and his bread and butter play, the hand off to DJ on a end around…

    • Yes, he's a tier above them, but you also touched on the money side of it.  With T-Mac locked in as our #1 on a rookie contract for a few more years, I'd much rather use that money that would be needed for DJ on our defense and develop Coker into our #2.   Especially given his contract situation as an UDFA, as his contract is up at the end of this year but we can keep him around for a 3rd team controlled year on the real cheap.  Which means we probably could get him to sign a very reasonable extension this offseason to give him a little more money while giving us a bargain contract for what he provides. DJ's contract is north of $20 million for the next 5 years, why pay that for your #2 WR with the needs we have on defense and you have guys like Coker, XL, and Horn on rookie contracts who very well could combine to be a serviceable 2-4 WRs behind a stud in T-mac? I love DJ and he'd be a great fit on this team as our #2, but the money side of it just makes absolutely zero sense, that's all it comes down to for me on this one. And no, I don't see the Bears wanting XL back in that trade, because they drafted Burden, who is essentially a better version of what XL provides, a player you want to get the ball into their hands and let them go to work.
    • I didnt see that many bad calls in the panthers cowboys game, but the chiefs especially in the playoffs were getting every single call they could get then the refs when it didnt matter would throw a call towards the other teams.  That I believe was the taylor swift effect.   But its crazy just thinking about how easy it is to change a game.  You dont need but a single ref to make a few close calls go towards one team over the other and in the nfl that is the game.
    • I don't think it's unrealistically blaming Bryce Young......to say has been a reason, sometimes a big one, in why our pass offense overall has been extremely week over the past 3 collective seasons.  I think that bothering anyone, is just being overly invested in some Bryce Young argument.  It's just a reality.
