Respect for Shaq

It’s really nice to see our tradition of high level MLB play returning here with Shaq becoming who we hoped he would be, especially after getting payed. I was also happy to see his vocal leadership and energy on display, a great feeling for sure and a nice win to compound it all.

I'm glad to see Shaq playing well.  Bottom line was that he HAD to have this kind of season if he wanted any chance of earning the dollars available to him on his contract.  He's getting paid elite money.  His cap number next year is very similar to Bobby Wagner.

Let's hope he continues his high level of play.  Certainly is nice to see.

I don’t care what anyone says - Shaq is earning his paycheck and then some. He is currently the 8th highest paid LB.  And will prob fall to 10-12 after contracts this off-season are handed out. I’d say he’s worth that based on his stellar play thus far

Ya, when I heard Shaq was back that was a huge sigh of relief. This team just doesn’t have depth and we can’t bring in a Gilmore to cover every single injury.

Except he is. We run primarily a 3-4 defense now with Burns and Reddick as our edge rushers. That leaves Shaq and Carter as our two MLBs.

Should have kept both. Getting rid of an elite corner like Bradberry was just ill sighted to say the least.

Given how threadbare our CB situation is at present I don't see how anyone could disagree with you.

Agreed, And contract can be manipulated and made better.
