How did Elflein look at center?

we better hope Elf is better at C because Paradis will never play another snap here and Elf has 2 years left on his contract after this season.  What a nice thought that we do not have to find a C in free agency or the draft (a starter would take the first rounder, imo).

And if Cam is decent to good, we can finally use the #1 pick on a LT.

He was shaky to start because he was jacked. Once he settled, the middle of the line was pretty strong.

Paradis never needs to see the field at center again for the Panthers. Period.

He won’t. He’s out for the season and this is the last year of his contract. I’m sorry but good riddance! And Elfein is better at C than G. Hope we’ve finally found a solution to our interior woes.

What was the deal with the the whole  O line actually pass blocking and such nice holes for our running backs, ????

It was  awesome

We ran an advanced run scheme yetserday. I didnt think Brady had it in his playbook. I love how many trap run plays we ran. It's really hard to LBers to read those, and it allows us to get creative and get the defense playing more conservative in there gap jumps.

Paradis was looking good prior to injury, as well.

Meeeehhhhh,  I’m not so sure.  His pff grades were decent but that doesn’t calculate his calls. I don’t think he could make the right protection calls.  He has the physical ability, but the protections always looked off.

    • After seeing hits in the last two UDFA pools, I do not in this group sorta of a let down after I gassed myself up.  Not like I know of their games, but just expected more. The duke DT only has to beat out hunte (2025 UDFA) or Ray (DL coach's kid) or even Cam Jackson mid 2025 5th.  I thought they would bring in more edges, IOL, TEs, etc...
    • My 2 favorite picks, since you didn't ask? 3. Brazzell II.  A 1000 yard WR with 4.37 speed and checks all the boxes for a Z Wide Receiver.  IN THE THIRD ROUND!!! 5.  Sam Hecht.  I think he will take over as the starter at some point this season and never look back.  IN THE FIFTH ROUND. Runner Up:  2. Hunter:  We were targeting a DT early in this draft because we did very little to replace Robinson in free agency.  Hunter was our guy and he will start. In addition to that, you got a starting tackle that should man one side of the new OL we will build for Bryce's second contract. A starting WR, offensive lineman, defensive lineman and possible Offensive tackle (at some point during this year from this draft will start.  UNREAL. In addition, I don't doubt that Wheatley (5th round) takes the FS job by next year and Lee III is Jackson's replacement in 2027.   Finally, even Kuwatch should be a special teams demon and LB depth.   Last year's draft was so good it was ugly.  This one will turn out to be uglier.  No offense Basbear--this ain't about you.
