Theyve been lucky facing a lot of rookies or backup quality type QBs this season.

Well we did go 3 and out 3 times and it's 14 to 14. We have been the worse offense.

Gilmore I doubt has a pass completed on him today.  It was a no brainer to have one of the best in the game shadow McLaurin. 

I would hope Jackson is not covering McLaurin solo after halftime but knowing Snow he might keep everything the same

Yup former QB on this roster too huh...Taylor Mannings left toe has more talent than any QB on our team not named Cam but he wasn't really on this team so TB, PJ, Sam lol...just give me Taylors left pinky...ffs

      Pretty sure that a QB contract payday is all the competition any QB in this league needs, I don't think a competent backup is going to make them play any harder when the current situation wouldn't warrant the contract extension yet anyways. Your opening point in this post is also the problem, "Bryce has shown signs of improving", but that's still all he's shown, and he's only showing that because of just how bad he was to start his career. If he played like last season from the beginning and never improved one bit, then I actually think more fans would be ready to move on from him, which is what's weird.  It's like going from one of the biggest draft busts of all time into the 25th best QB in the league over 3 years means he deserves a long term $40+ million a year contract extension. Improvement shouldn't be the goal when the result of said improvement is still bottom of the league levels.

      Yeah, but we've seen him do it. Just not often. I think that's the reason for the taller WRs. Would likely be a problem finding someone like Jimmy Horn in the mess.

      And the Rams, Seattle, Patriots, Green Bay, Jaguars and the Bills who all made the playoffs and in case you forgot, Seattle and the Patriots played in the SB. By any measure, that's pretty brutal.
