According to Pro Football Focus, Christensen was on the field for 26 pass-blocking snaps and didn’t concede either a sack or a quarterback pressure. This is a significant positive that also saw the first-year-pro emerge as Carolina’s highest-graded player with 81.1.

Maybe we get solid work from that position going forward? Doesn't have to be great, just consistent.

Yes - that was a huge positive from this weekend.  He may turn out to be a decent LT for years to come and allow us to draft a center and a guard next year.

He needs to be the starter there. He has consistently shown he's the best option at LT so far. He needs more time there to show he can keep it up over more snaps.

It would certainly solve a lot of damn problems if he becomes even adequate

What do we have to lose by keeping him out there and letting him learn the job? Might as well and see if we can solve that problem this season rather than rolling into next season with a big, glaring problem.

Exactly and cam being back there helps out a LOT with his mobility.

For all the lack of trust I have in Rhule as a coach, he does seem to have a strength in player development. A lot of the young guys he’s brought in have shown a ton of promise.

PFF is trash but BC passed the eye test and yet again raises the question: WTF are they thinking not starting this guy?

He isn't a mauler but the LG getting killed isn't his fault. Looks good in pass protection and needs improvement in the run. Fantastic for a LT considering what the play has been there.

It’s crazy what competent play from the QB does for the OL. Get the ball out quick. Get the right protections. Everyone looks better.

Well, he was not vs. Chase Young, but I thought he played well.  Maybe he had time to reflect after his first stint at LT---who knows?  This is about the time of the year when the game should slow enough for a rookie to start getting it.
